Personally I am disappointed that you have left, yes it wasn't your best but I preferred it to Daisy's and your Charleston was way better. But a very dignified exit. Well done

Lovely lady who did herself proud, Ed should have gone but its that time when the comedy act puts out better dancers.

Came across as a lovely, lovely lady. You did well Lesley. Big thanks.

Her dancing was like...A bird on a feather, good on her.

PS

Very nice to have a positive thread here, this forum has been overtaken by a tsunami of negativity in posts and threads recently.

Absolutely gutted. Not her best dance but I looked forward to her the most of anyone this year.

She definitely had more to give. She was a real goer.

Very sad to see Lesley going. She put in so much effort and was embracing the experience.

Thank you for lighting up Saturday evening's, Lesley.

Very disappointed they have gone, much too soon for me.
I find the other ladies this year so so bland.

Truly devastated she has gone . I hope I have half of her energy and chutzpah when I get to her age.

I usually root for the 'best' dancers to triumph but would not have minded her raising the glitterball this year.

I actually got quite emotional, I think Daisy's response was very genuine and Lesley's response very dignified, I will miss her.

I felt so sad that Lesley went. I was so excited to hear she was on strictly as always loved her in Birds of a Feather but I felt she wasn't just likeable but she was a pretty good dancer too and I thought her Charleston was the best dance last week. I also thought her and Anton had a lovely friendship. It has annoyed me that Daisy and Lesley were in the dance off as I didn't want either to go. Ed should have been in it.

Sad to see her go. I voted for her. Did you vote??. Sometimes people are upset when a celeb leaves, but they never vote.

Such a shame to see Lesley leave-she seemed so emotional when the result was announced.

Lesley and Anton have been so entertaining, and what energy and stamina she has!

Wonderful lady and such stamina. Gone far too soon.

An inspiration to all of us, she put several much younger ladies to shame with her energy and enthusiasm. Such a lovely lady too and you could just tell that Anton was loving teaching her.
What a shame but it was the right decision in the circumstances.

I think Lesley is a wonderful woman and brought out the best in Anton. I'm sorry they have gone so soon, but they were just unlucky about getting the wrong dance on the wrong night. Great shame, but I don't think it's the fault of any other celeb it's just the roll of the dice. Great lady and she can be very proud of the dances she's done.

I was gutted too - she was utterly fabulous darling - I was literally open mouthed at some of the stuff she pulled off - fanbloodytastic.

Sad to see her go! it would be lovely if they could give her a "roving reporter" slot in her Nosy Neighbour Dorian character.

I think her dances along with the judge are the only ones I have not fast forwarded this year. The others just bored me. Maybe just strictly fatigue ?

I really got the impression that Anton was being geunine when he said she challenged him and you can see he's got a lot more creative this year as a result of it.

Shame it didn't come off for them tonight - Ed should have gone but then it wouldn't be SCD if someone who could have given more didn't end up going too early because the public keep voting in a duffer.
