With Honey G though, I just can not even begin to understand how anyone can find her entertaining in the slightest. The joke was funny for about 5 minutes but I honestly think it's the most desperate and pathetic publicity stunt the show has ever done - and yes that probably is rhyming slang.
She isn't funny, she has the charm of herpes and I'd rather have root canal without Novocaine that listen to one of her immature nursery rhyme raps. She's like a drunk mum going to a fancy dress party and is about as street as my gran”

You took the words right out of my mouth. The show gets worse every year with the manipulation.

Honey G's time will come eventually, she won't win, once we get to the business end of the competition, she will get the fewest votes.

I am not surprised, at the end of the day its nothing new we always get novelty acts like this. Its not right but this is the X Factor, one of the only shows that would allow an act like this to perform.

Just remember the likes of Wagner, Steve Ritch the list continues!

The difference between Honey G though and previous joke acts is they were never given standing ovations and told they were great every week. Nor were they allowed to be do lazy in the competition.

It's time for the whole farce that the show has become to be scrapped at the end of this series

Yes it is my opinion. I don't like her and I don't think she deserves to still be in the competition.

If others disagree with me that's fine. After all, that is what all the threads on these forums are about, people expressing their own opinions.

It's not a case of who is right and who is wrong, we all have different tastes, different likes and dislikes.

You and others are entitled to like her and find her "entertaining", just as I am entitled to find her unlikeable and boring.

Yes and that is what makes it all a farce.

Simon has always been highly critical of the novelty acts in past series, yet he seems to big her up every week.

I just don't get it, what is so special about her, compared to all the other novelty acts that have been on the show?

There is nothing special about her at all. The other novelty acts could actually sing! Thats the difference as far as I can see. Even when she sang or rather said Ice Ice baby she sounded out of tune. She can't even speak in tune!

You are right, but lots of people are putting money on her. All I can say is they mushthave more money than they have sense.

She's 14/1 to win outright at the moment, and being as poor as she is, I can imagine that many people are probably thinking that it's been rigged for her to win so is worth a punt.

I'd be very interested to find out the odds for her leaving the competition if a few weeks though when it's apparently the cut-off point for making the tour.

A lot of people seem to think that she'll be kept in until that point and then let go so that a 'real' performer can win.

I get that these threads are a bit tedious as it is something we have to put up with every series. But I am genuinely baffled this year as to why anybody would vote for her. I don't think I've ever really enjoyed a novelty act (apart from Wagner!) but I have seen the appeal to an audience looking for entertainment. I just can't see anything entertaining in this crap.

Even the rent a mob audience rounded on her and booed last night when she was put through its absolutely cringworthy now.the show has become a total embarrassment and a grotesque caricature of itself.
