I must admit, that result stung, particularly because she has the potential to be amazing given the right song choices ('Shackles' was my favourite performance this year). To be eliminated in favour of Ryan and 4oD, who have both been hopeless two weeks on the trot, is frustrating as hell.
At least she was gracious in defeat. Quite possibly one of the most likable contestants this show has seen.
Guess my Saturday nights can be a lot more productive now that the only person worth rooting for is gone.

I liked Relley but I think Sharon would have done so much better with James, Peyton and Janet

It's more geared to churning out pop artists than RnB, but would agree there is lack of knowledge about the genre on the show, which is sad for someone with Relley's soulful tones.
Some have made comparisons to Alexandra Burke & Relley. Alex was quite generic and could sing pop songs, e.g., Toxic from Britney Spears and other genres of music which was not RnB and she pulled them off very well.
As most regular posters on here know Relley is a friend . She is incredibly talented and a wonderful singer and on top of that she is one of the most genuine nice people you'll ever meet.
Like many here have said i think she was done over tonight in a big way! I'd always expected it would happen one week I just hadn't expected it to be this week so it's a bit of a shock! Gutted doesn't even begin to cover it!
The show pigeon holed her from the start with the way they styled her 15 years older than she is and gave her old ballads to sing anyone who knows Relley knows that she is much more current than she has been allowed to be on XF.
Retrospectively I can see that they had planned her exit for this week, remember the make over she was going to have which was suddenly postponed to next week??
I know Relley will want me to say thank you to all the people on DS who have been supporting her.
Rest assured Relley is a fighter and this wont be the last you've heard of her. xx

I hope that a good record label will give Relley the chance she deserves as she has a lot of potential.
Sharon did well with her song choices the first 2 weeks but Natural Woman was a real misstep. I've said this a few times on here but it felt like the old stereotypes of what the overs used to be in like 2007. However, she still gave one of the ebst vocals of the night and shouldn't have even been near the bottom 3.

I thought she could have had a better save me song - TBH _ I can't even remember what she sang now. But i think the acts choose their own save me songs. It's a pity she wasn't at her best. However, they will always save a young act that they can exploit over an older one that they can't.

I was disgusted with what Sharon said, how Relley wasn't good last week, when she was, yet Sharon knew she was unwell, and then says Relley Home! To me that felt like a sacrifice! Relley has more performance in her than the likes or Ryan and 4oD!

It was a pretty poor choice, I agree. This was her chance to show she's a current, credible, relevant act and she didn't take it.
4OD were poor as well. They appeared to be 4 randoms they've picked out the audience and given 15 minutes to practice

Actually Mrs O put the nail in her coffin last night with the "don't look worried up there you have absolutely nothing to worry about comment" a way of saying to viewers don't worry about voting this act is safe - a well used XF tactic!

Relley was so gracious afterwards. Really hope someone will give her the chance she deserves to continue her career.
Relley will get signed up as she is a good singer.
All Relley needed was some of Saara's confidence, and some interesting song choices and she would've lasted a bit longer before hitting the bottom three I reckon.

Definitely agree, they had stronger and different types of voices. I would have put the same 3 through as you, so shocked Sharon didn't!

Agreed. This was a chance for her to show that she is being shafted by being given outdated songs but she chose a song that's similar to what we are saying she shouldn't have been singing.

I think she has a good future ahead of her tbh, and I reckon someone will give her a chance. Its only your stereo typday audience that are not keen on acts like Relley. They prefer bland male acts like Ben and Matt etc.

True perhaps not the best choice of song, I agree about 4od though they were pretty bad in the sing off. Personally I thought relley was slightly better and has more potential going forward. 4od are going nowhere in this competition, just a very average girl group, I just cant see where their votes will come from.
Gotta say last night Relley was awful in the sing off. Thing is she was not the worst on Saturday, but what I will say is her song was extraordinarily boring. The best singer won't win this nor will the best perfromer.

I definitely agree re her being screwed over. I knew as soon as Nicole (who's been a staunch supporter of her all series) opted to eliminate her over 4oD, that her moment was up. I'll definitely miss Relley brightening up my Saturdays, but I truly wish her all the success in the world.

No it isn't, TreyC was a screechy shouty diva, that took numerous attempts to get to the lives, and eventually got on the lives after failing with a record label, she rightfully got the boot.

No truth of the matter is that if Relley was white, you wouldn't give a toss about her. But once again one of your yearly obsessions has failed to turn up. Not everyone likes the same genre of music as you. That is why she never got the votes !

She was VERY marginally the 2nd best singer of them allI I think, but its not about singing or talent now!!!! Probably more a popularity contest rather than a singing one.

BiB - she may have been but there was nothing original about her and if you dont have that originality and you are basically just doing karaoke then you have to be exceptional to stand out, and she wasn't
