Kind of ironic a diva left on Diva Week

An actually very predictable result. The minute she entered bottom 3, there was no way they were going to keep her. If Relley made a comeback in the votes, there would have been an Alexandra Burke kind of effect and that would threaten the Chosen Ones.

I think they would have got rid of Ryan if they had the chance. But against anyone else, Relley was doomed.

But they must know Ryan will get saved by that app vote each time. And they'll probably preserve him until Emily is in the bottom 2 too cos that's a drama in and of itself they would love to happen

The lifeline vote is a joke, it serves to buoy up anyone who rabid teenage fangirls who'll make their family all download the app so they can give their fave 30 votes overall.

Alexandra was never in the bottom 2 in her series.....I don't get the reference?!

Her performance was weak on Saturday, no doubt stumbled by the flu she's had.
And she was unlucky to be against 4oD in the singoff for judges decision.

As for the diva leaving in diva week, can we hope and pray that a fright will leave on fright night?

They like doing that sort of irony sometimes.

I remember when Jamie Afro left on Queen night in series 6, kinda shocking looking back on it that Queen was the night that caught him out.

Whilst I'm glad that one of the identicate acts in this series has left, I would've preferably liked it to have been someone more talentless at this stage considering we're only going into the fourth live show.

She was bottom 3 though one of the weeks at the beginning/Week 3 I think where Simon was criticising her for doing too much Whitney/Mariah. Then she did Candyman by Christina Aguilera and everything changed. Her entire vote trajectory went up. But we only know this through the voting each week being released. There was no bottom 3 back then.

It is very possible that Relley as well was bottom 3, maybe even Saara and Freddy in previous weeks. But we won't know until the end of the show. If there had beeb a bottom 3 and lifeline vote back in season 5, Alexandra could have very well gone home in a sing-off, something she never had to face. She did say once she could never have thrived in the competition with the challenges the contestants face today, like the arena audition and the 6 chair challenge.

She didn't have a fanbase.

It's a shame Relley was in the bottom 2

I think they had no choice but to send her home- otherwise they wouldn't have a variety for their tour bus. It's not something I agree with.

Had they kept Relley, they would be left with: 6 females, 1 boy band, and 2 males.

I was thinking the same thing...

The following week, we can lose "pretty boy" Ryan on Louis Loves night

Even more ironically, his losing sing-off song was another Queen song!

Nope. The only time she was one spot above the bottom two was in week 7 when she performed Relight My Fire. She polled 6th in the first live show, and 7th in the second. Candyman didn't change her mid-table placing. It was in fact Without You when she performed last that saw her break into the top 2 of the vote for the first time.

He really should've stopped singing Queen it seems.

Maybe I'm perverse, but if I were voting - I probably won't this year - I think I'd be more likely to try to keep someone in the show who hadn't yet had a theme week that suited their character and talent, than a performer who's just had as good a chance to shine as they're likely to get.
