Oh well guys at least you can watch Sarah's performances on YouTube
i think she will be releasing her music on there unless a record label picks get up but can't see that happening
Apparently she didn't want to win anyway. She said that she'd have more freedom if she came second. The winner automatically gets signed to Cowell's label.

To be honest, I'm not surprised Matt overtook her. Both of Matt's song choices tonight were a million times better than hers. It's Oh So Quiet was far too niche and I Didn't Know My Own Strength is an utter, utter dirge. If I hadn't been watching all series, I probably would have voted for Matt tonight- even though Saara did brilliantly with the dross she was given.
I agree. I was really disappointed with her songs on the second night. That second song was not only an unappealing tune, the lyrics were all about how strong and amazing the singer is in the face of adversity. Which, it seems to me, is guaranteed to annoy a British audience who prefer their winners to be self-deprecating and humble

I thought Saara wiped the floor with Matt on day 1, particular with Rule the World, but Matt was much better on day 2 in both songs.

It was disappointing but Saara didn't seem overly disappointed so I guess I can live with it

Although I would of loved to of seen Saara win, I think coming second is best for her, and obviously Saara wanted to come second as well, I didn't see the article of her saying that. I do think Simon will want to sign her up though.

1.4 million people watched the X Factor last night in Finland- with a massive 75% viewer share. Think it broke records for the channel it was on.

Saara has posted a lovely video message on her twitter page this morning. She seems so genuinely happy coming second and is so appreciative of all the support people have given her over the past few months.

Wicked

I would love for Saara to bring out her version of Chandelier, and for her and Adam to bring out some Queen songs.

Has anyone listened to Saara's version of "Walking in the Air"? It's on iTunes at the moment and I'd urge people to listen if they want to support her. I'm so gutted that she didn't win because of the pathetic song choices on Sunday. If you listen to any of her stuff on iTunes it is a million miles better! I'd love it if we could get "Walking in the Air" charting for Christmas.

Am I just seeing something I want to see, or ..is there a genuine lot of love for saara out there that will translate into real success for her ? I mean, more than most recent runners up, e.g. Nicholas , Marcus Collins or reggie and bollie ?

Yeah I agree. I think deep down Simon really wanted her to win as well towards the end. I feel it even more when he couldn't even be arsed going on Xtra Factor.

I think that was a silly interview for her to do just before the final.
Perhaps she thought she could be more candid, if it was in Finnish?
Hope it didn't cost her too many votes?

I think Simon and Louis wanted Saara to win, me thinks Simon knows Matt will flop, like Ben, Leon, joe before him.

Saara Aalto about to sign deal with major record label

Kate Bush, Lady Gaga and Sia inspired apparently. Seems there has been lots of interest.

She came here to try and find her big break - I'm glad things are working out for her

Not very often you find someone with a voice like Saara's. She's a songwriter as well so I'm looking forward to seeing what she comes up with.

if you look at voting patterns she lost only because 5am fans voted for matt at the final two stage

The silly teeny girl's, they should be banned from voting. Really think Saara would of won if they didn't vote for the pretty boy.

I think in a normal, pre-app year she would have won but the app votes screwed her over right through the entire competition If it wasn't enough that the app vote caused her to go from 3rd last to bottom 2 on numerous occasions, it finally got the better of her with 5am's vote transfer

Not sure if it has been mentioned anywhere, but invitations to her press conference next tuesday were, not so surprisingly, sent by Sony Music Finland.

Could she have been signed by the RCA just like Matt Terry?
