Lets me honest for the last few years this forum has been a shadow of it's former self but I honestly believe that SOC has breathed new life into the board.

His approach to EE is love and warmth and that has completely divided this board and a battle has commenced.
Those who like the calm EE are on one side while those who like gripping drama are on the other so a war has basically begun.

It's got to the point that DS has got fun again and I enjoy logging in now to see what's going on.

I really really hope not but the verdict is still out on him when it comes to me, i haven't been able to form any significant impression of his work just yet

I really would like to see an interview from him because I'd love to know even just some snippets of what he has got planned for the show

Yeah, it's still early days. You're wise to reserve judgement I think.

Just don't blame me when he's boring you to death with love and warmth . Just kidding .

True, an interview from SOC would be good. Just to get some sort of insight into his vision for the show.

The realism v sensationalism arguments can only go on for so long before they come repetitive.

Im enjoying EE at the moment but theres not much we can talk about.

I wouldn't say it's improved the forum more a case of every discussion of EE being dominated by it to the extent of it becoming obsessive.

That's not really what ppl are arguing about though some are just simply saying it's boring with no explanation as to why they think that

But then whilst the previous producer was at the helm folk were crying out for more realism and less ret-cons, personality transplants and just pure ridiculous.

So it's a no win situation at the moment.

I think the seeds are being sown for some realistic but dramatic stories to play out and so I have faith for now

That's because 80% of the threads are asking the same two/three questions just in a different way

A lovely, positive post; a rare sight on this forum! I think it's quite quiet on here at the moment but overall I'm finding posts to be of a slightly better and more interesting quality than usual so I tend to agree with you. I think that once some of the storylines start kicking in that SOC has set up, this place will be really strong again.

I agree, I feel there is something going on with Dot from what is being shown it would appear she may have health issues, possibly something eyesight related, which may get revealed in her planned trip to the cinema with Patrick, just have to wait and see.

As long as it doesn't become oversentimental and soppy.

Awww, there there, Joe. There there. Uncle TK is always here for a hug.

You're probably a macho type, though, so I won't embarrass you. But I have been told by the missus that I am a world-class hugger. There is nobody better than me in the hugging department I tell ya. I've even had violent and unhinged criminals coming up to me for a hug in the street. . Everybody needs a bit of love and warmth if you ask me.

Anyway, sorry to get all soppy, Lorraine Newman's been rubbing off on me.

Are you sure it was 'hugger' that she said, you might have misheard.

I don't have much to complain about when it comes to EE at the moment, and I'm feeling rather put out to be honest.

Some people on this forum do seem to thrive on it and don't think their day is complete until they have been on here for a good whinge that's for sure, certainly the impression I get.
