Really enjoyed LeAnn last night . What a beautiful voice .This was one time I didn't want the dancers distracting from the song and those in the audience with that mindless roaring .

She might well have a wonderful voice, but the song was dire.
Just a random collection of notes and words

I'm not particularly a fan, but my goodness she was really good last night. Knocked almost any other performance on Strickly out of the park.
I always think most singers have earpieces which block a lot of that roaring and applause out.
Very impressed by Ms Rimes.
Gorgeous voice, not a great song but like you OP I could have just listened to her without the distraction of the dancers and the whooping and hollering of the audience. Unlike madness last week when I cut the sound and just watched the dance!
I thought she was great too. Her voice is lovely. The song wasn't her best by a long chalk but she was the best performer by a country mile so far this series.

Neither of us could understand a word she sang and thought she looked like she was wearing her nightie.
Normally we don't like to see the dancers come on, but in this case it was a chance to take our minds off the 'singing'”
Lol, pity the dogs when Michael Ball and Alfie Boe were on then. Now I thought they were dismal.
She had a really good voice and sang well live - which is a novelty. Overall I enjoyed it but do agree about the diction as all I heard her sing was' kiss a boy' and couldn't tell what, if anything, she was singing in between. The friend who I was watching with wondered if she had forgotten the words and was 'improvising'.
I posted this on the "In praise of the band and singers" last night.
Another word of praise, this time for the guest singer.
Far too often we have to suffer singers who are over the hill or are not that good at their craft.
LeAnn Rimes, made a refreshing change.
She's one of my favourite C&W singers.
They used to call Sarah Vaughan "Miss Perfect Pitch." I think LeAnn comes pretty close to it.
She has also starred in the TV movie, "Northern Lights," she was quite good in that too.
