I was thinking the other day that this series reminds me of series 6 in that there are 2 very strong male contenders (Ore and Danny this year and Austin and Tom in S6) who seem to be clear of the rest of the field and the closest is a technically gifted but not very exciting female contender (Louise this year and Rachel in series 6)?

Is it just me - what does anyone think?

Can see where you're coming from, but I found Rachel far from dull.

Suppose you could just about compare Daisy to Lisa Snowdon as well.

Ore feels more like a Lisa Snowdon to me, but I can see what you mean. It's starting to feel a bit like series 7 to me, in that the best dancers don't seem to really be grabbing people and may not be that popular, while the entertaining learners are getting the votes. I don't suppose we'll really know unless Danny or Ore's public vote is put to the test if they have a really bad dance one week.
