New Black Mirror - Season 3 (Exclusive to Netflix)
If you enjoyed "Black Mirror" written by Charlie Brooker on Channel 4, then this is a heads up to tell you that you can enjoy a new exclusive series for Netflix which is now all US based, the first episode is about a dystopian future society based on a hierarchy around people's social media rankings, I thought that was very absorbing and surreal although I couldn't understand what we were meant to take from the ending of it.
Good to have some new quality television like this, I wonder if Channel 4 will now not get to show "Black Mirror" now that Season 3 is exclusive to Netflix. Another big treat for Netflixers is next year when Better Call Saul - Season 3 premieres! |

They're not all US based. 'Shut Up and Dance' for example is British...
I'm really enjoying Series 3 of Black Mirror; feels like the show has been opened up so much more. As for what you're meant to take away from the first one:

The last episode, with the robot bees, was by far the best in my opinion.

. Very powerful piece of drama, raising all sorts of thought-provoking stuff. Beautifully acted too.Watched Shut Up And Dance a couple of weeks ago and am still in bits, and questioning all my own judgements about everything. My goodness, talk about tension! Absolutely loved Nosedive....am hesitating over watching Playtest, as I get the feeling it's pretty disturbing, and I'm the type who has nightmares once something I've watched gets into my head! Should I risk it? Is it worth it? Or shall I jump straight to Hated In the Nation, which I gather is really good according to the reviews? |

Hated in the nation is like watching a movie due to its length. It is very good and as I dont do social media I found the twist quite satisfying although quite disturbing.
