Yes. You always need a flaunting.
Particularly if one is the proud owner of "ample assets", "toned pins", a "pert derriere" and "washboard abs".

There used to be a time when calling someone a mate would have a completely different meaning.

Or they could just be getting on - as mates - or is that solution too obvious?

You mean it was a freudian slip? Maybe.

PS. In the innuendo and gossip journalism. When you are hinting at a possible relationship I think there's a rule where you have to mention their ages. So it would be Ore [description], age and Jo [description], age. If their partners are older then this is compulsory.

The house price is only mentioned if they are scroungers or divorcing (ie has left his £X family home) etc.

Good description ML- but how did you know, as you've never met me!

As a guy, I'm not sure to what my "ample assets" might be.

Hmm another interesting theory. How dare Ore assume Jo likes him
No doubt they both do like one another, both are very proffessional people, their relationship is workmanlike both want to do well.

Despite his tears however, it's not a partnership to me that shows much emotional investment by either.

I was looking forward to their waltz, I fell in love with SCD all those years ago watching Matt and Alesha waltz. Ore and Jo's waltz had everything, the music, the dress, I know he can dance well, but it didn't emotionally engage me at all. In theory with all his tears I should be getting some emotion, but I am not.

I can only think it is because something is missing and I don't see that love of dancing and the way Matt and Alesha were together, now we all know that wasn't romantic, but they had fun together and really seemed to enjoy being together. Something is missing between Ore and Jo for me.

You do know that most of last year's offenders will fail to understand your point, or will deliberately misinterpret it?

Ore has already told the press the Strictly curse has struck!

Apparently Jo and Portia get on so well he describes himself as the third wheel

Been noticing Ore keeps referencing Joanne as his new best friend and mate etc
I think he's saying this so no one assumes it is going to develop into anything else..
I think it's a bit rude when a guy calls a girl mate.
My Vet calls my cat mate!
