I think VW waltz would put least amount of strain on her injury. What do others think.

Anything that involves a lot of armography and dry ice

I don't think it's fair that she gets a "special" dance to adjust to her injury, she has to perform whatever was planned for her to do, be it a Rumba or a Charleston. If she still can't do it, bye then (scuse the pun).

They apparently accommodated Anatacia the week following her injury, though. I think this was stated by Brendan on ITT.

So why not Laura?

I don't remember him saying that. Do you have a link for this?

It's not the Olympics though - it's an entertainment show and they are already a man down.
It's in the Show's interest to try to keep Laura in and have what seems like a fair elimination to the majority of the viewers on Saturday.

You never know - Laura might avoid the D O.

No I don't, it's just something that I seem to remember Brendan talking about on ITT with Anastacia and Zoe after the first elimination when she was saved because she couldn't do the dance off.

Or it may have been in one of the training videos.

I think Brendan said on something about adjusting the dance on ITT.

Rumba. I was originally thinking of the foxtrot but there's a lot of rise and fall. Looking forward to seeing her doing the foxtrot and Charleston the most

Rumba actually requires quite a bit of feet and ankle work. The best dance would be American Smooth Viennese Waltz as Giovanni can choreograph lifts where she is off the floor and make them really long. He could choreograph lots of arm-ography and dry ice to cover the feet.

Anastasia said she was fortunate to get the VW as it was easiest to dance with the injury. Suspicious minds led people to think it was given to her as a special favour.

Fortunately Anton's special personal dry ice machine is now available and looking for work

They have to do what's best for Laura if she has limited training and is just hobbling around the dance floor there is not much point in her carrying on. She needs to think about her long term health.

But the transitions and landings would be a bit risky.

Halloween week is a good week to return as a costume can hide any support she has to wear and the Judges are usually a bit more forgiving. Dressing her as a mummy should do it. Or a zombie, they don't lift their feet, sexy zombie anyone????

Foxtrot surely?

There's a Laila Rouass rumba that has similar qualities. Both rather risky though. I'm not sure Laura has the goodwill to pull either of them off in the same way .

Something she can do twice quite easily

There is no dance that she could take easy or protect an injury. If she is not at full fitness, I would suggest its best to pull out of the show,

What about a Denise van Outen special?

It just involves sitting on a chair

Paso? She could do paso walks and lots of flamenco arms, stamp a bit all in a straight line, it will be the twisting and corners that make life difficult.
