The Middle Season 8 (UK Pace)
Haven't seen a thread for it but worth mentioning The Middle returns tonight on Comedy Central
Love The Middle I think its one of the most underrated Comedies ever, it really deserves more hype and mentions then It gets Season 8 and still going strong with no noticeable dips in quality as you usually get with shows going this long |

Looking foward to its return. It fell a little out of favour with me last season, I can't really explain why. Here's hoping S8 gets back in its groove (imo).

I agree with the OP. I often find it funnier than the 'big' comedies like Modern Family and Big Bang Theory

I think The Middle and Modern Family were well suited when they were back to back on Sky 1. Sadly Sky just dropped it for no reason.
As for Big Bang - its overhyped now. |

Love the middle. Glad Comedy Central picked it up when sky dropped it a few years back. I was always surprised at that decision as the whilst the ratings weren't as good as modern family they were better than everything else they've attempted to pair with modern family since. Silly channel.
A good return tonight I thought. |

She was irritating. The only one worse was Jeremy.

Huh, my Sky box didn't pick it up.
But then it seems to have trouble with Comedy Central all the time. A hunting through the days we will go. |

My Tivo recorded S1E8 followed by S8E1 - I didn't noticed until I played the old episode first. Bit of a time warp...

I hope this series improves. The last episode (with Sue not filing her paperwork) was rather bland.
It's missing something and I don't know what it is. |

I like The Middle. But I quit during last series. I want them all to live at home, not on college.
And I missed their (grand)parents, they are alsways fun to watch. Patricia Heaton and Eden Shear are very good actors. Hopefully Rita Glossner will return

Is it me or does it look like Axl has put on a bit of weight?
It's particularly obvious because he's got his shirt off in every episode but he was always slim in the previous seasons, whereas this season he's looking a little bit chubby. |

I still would ![]() But he's still in very good shape and is blessed with striking good looks, so is probably one of the most attractive men on TV? As for the weight gain, I know how easy it is for that to happen. I'm 21 and up until last year I was very active, but I quit football and other sports when I left university. Most people in their teens and 20s eat a lot of junk food (me included) and when you don't exercise much it can very quickly cause you to put on weight- I've gone from having abs to sporting quite a big gut, and I think that happens to a lot of people once they get into their 20s and their activity level drops. |

I love The Middle. Every single character is brilliant. I love Frankie the most though. I wish they would show Brad more though.

I'm glad Comedy Central is repeating some of the earlier seasons as I have not seen some of them.
Anyone know when season 8 of The Middle is due to return to Comedy Central. Darren |
