Aggs - You are right.. it is another item added to the Wait and See list. if Laura were fully fit, its a great track, no complaints at all.

I saw a video of Daredevil's (Matt Murdock) best clips to this song. It was great. I too am glad that Danny and Oti have this song.

Does anyone at Strictly actually know any good songs for an American Smooth? Amarillo last week now Black Magic.

I think that the spread of dances this week looks a bit unusual; I can’t put my finger on why though, perhaps it’s the lack of Waltzes & Quicksteps in the mix.

• 1 x American Smooth
• 1 x Cha Cha Cha
• 2 x Charlestons
• 1 x Foxtrot
• 1 x Jive
• 2 x Paso Dobles
• 1 x Rumba
• 1 x Tango

Ed has the best music this week; Daisy’s music is ok, but the rest of the tunes are not much good, IMO.

Bring Me To Life sounds suitably spooky, but, to me, is absolutely nothing like a Rumba!

Born This Way sounds a good tune to stamp around & waft a cape to , but isn’t a Paso Doble to my ears.

When Claudia’s music was revealed on ITT, I thought she might be dancing a Cha Cha Cha, but then Zoe said it was for an American Smooth! Whaaat!

I think that Frank Sinatra's version of Witchcraft might have made a nice American Smooth or Foxtrot this week:

The rumba is the worst dance to get on Halloween week. Good luck to Greg. This weekend will really test his popularity because I predict that he'll be near the bottom of the leaderboard.

Looking forward to the judge, Ed and Danny dances.

I'm really struggling with some of these choices but I suppose the weirdest is Bring Me to Life for a rumba. Unless they're planning an alternative version played in a plinky plonky little piano sung in the mode of Adele, I can't see it working. Nope, just can't.

And the effing rhumba to boot the one that very few male celebs ever managed to sell convincingly and not one sportsman ever has. I don't know what and him and Nat have ever done to the production team but they're not in favour are they?

Looks like I'm back on the phone this week too.

At the least they haven't given him the effing rhumba

Assume they (Haley??) use the acoustic version:

BIB Ben Cohen did a great rumba. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was; it was my favorite dance from him actually.

I've completely forgotten it - might have to check it out. Well I guess that the pro of chucking bold statements out there you learn something.

It's possibly Natalie's choice though. Getting the dodgy dances out of the way and leaving the cream for later. It's a risky strategy given how good this year's celebs are but they're fairly safe at this stage I think and who wants a rumba/chacha/salsa foisted on them in the latter stages?

So it's going to be the battle of the Clifton Charlestons this week then.

With that music, it looks unlikely that Ore and Joanne will top the leaderboard this week ... Could be Louise and Kevin's week to shine?

I think it's the opposite. Greg will benefit doing his weakest dances early on, when still
plenty of celebs in the contest, Greg has enough public support to carry through in these stages, but when it's closer to the final and only good dancers left, Greg needs his best dances to compete with them. I think this plays in his favour.

Maybe, but I doubt it. Two Latins in a row to get them out of the way, maybe, but three is too risky. She doesn't come across to me like she thinks they're safe. I don't believe any pro would choose a rumba for Halloween. I think it's much more that Greg is disposable now. It's also a song I can't see how you do a rumba to and he's generally early in the running order. To be honest, at this point if his Halloween costume was a bag over his head with 'Don't vote for this one' written on it, I wouldn't be surprised.

Has anyone done a really popular rumba for Halloween? I think Abbey went into the B2 with one but I might be wrong.

Haha it seems most of the songs were picked like XFactor Halloween songs are

I guess the costumes and make up will be Halloween themed instead
