I think the song is underwhelming and unfortunately so was her XF performance. She was too keen to appear "sexy".

She's at 20 but streaming hurt her - sales only she is 7 with 24k

i agree with this but also think her unpopularity is a backlash against her being pushed so much by XF last year.

As viewers we like to choose our own favourites and then root for them each week but when we are constantly effectively told who we should like over and over it seems to eventually have the opposite effect.
I also think the public like to see someone who improves week on week and has a journey so to speak rather than an act being hallmarked as the winner in week one.

I think Matt Terry will experience a similar fate, in fact the best thing he could probably do right now is wait a few weeks and then royally f*** up his performance in order to not win!

Embarrassing considering she's a young and attractive girl that's also supposed to have a great and powerful voice according to Simon.

Don't matter what age you are when it comes to what the public like stream or buy - drakes age 29 and had 16 weeks at number 1 - if your song is good it's good, if you've got the type of flare as a popstar you can sell the shit out a song - but people probably expected more of a tears Type track and it's not something you can play for a night out its not uptempo - it's just a fair song with a James Bond feel

Drake feels like his a younger singer than Louisa, I also didn't realise that he was 29 (which is old in Music terms) I mean compare his Hotline Bling or One Dance to Forever Young, or even the song with Clean Bandit, she sounds like an 80 year old that's singing at a Funeral, she needs a bit of life injected into her.

Yeah she needs uptempo but they're sending her down this dark grunge lane marketing as some kinda poor mans Christina aguilera! Not happy she needs to be doing uptempo fun stuff

Age does kind of matter though. It's rare for pop acts to hit big before 20 or 22 unless they're cute boys or Beyoncé tier stars. You do a lot of developing over those few years, and become a lot more interesting and relatable to members of the public.

Yeah well Zara Larsson is same age as Louisa and is managing - she just needs material that isn't so dark I think...

Justin Beiber only really hit big now Hes a little older his previous material was embarrassing and well 25-28 pop acts have had those development years so seem much more seasoned on stage so can sell the songs - if th music caters to a teen kinda fanbase it doesn't really matter

Louisa isn't an "uptempo" kind of gal though....she's more like a Joss Stone

She is stage school and fake hence why people don't like her

I said it at the time but the success of Tears was a fluke. Clean Bandit could have had any female with a decent voice do the vocals and it would have been a hit. Its success was nothing to do with Louisa.

She had a wardrobe malfunction with her skirt whilst performing it in Sheffield, her arse was hanging out not sure if that was good or bad

I don't get all this discussion about age, how old are the chili peppers? or coldplay? yet they can still fill up stadiums.

I've now seen the music video but I still think So Good is really average. It's not the worst song I've heard all year but it's nowhere near close to being a favourite either.

It's very pedestrian and quite forgettable. At least Tears had a better hook in the chorus.

So Good is such an empty song. :/

He won the whole show because he's that white male MoR dull bloke they have every couple of years to sweep up the middle aged woman vote.

RCHP are a real band and attract real music fans, so will always have a fanbase.

Old play are the greatest example of bland music aimed at the masses but also have some good songs like Beige and Magnolia. They are treated as "the band to see" and can choose which tv shows they plug themselves on, so have great promo.

X Factor singers rely on promo from Syco. Look at the difference in sales between James Arthur with Syco & without.

As soon as Louisa leaves Syco she'll be forgotten by those who spend Saturday nights staring at the goldfish bowl. Also look at Sam Bailey.

seems not very high to me considering the xfactor performance and it's also playlisted on most radios.

She seems to be doing sort of alright to me actually. Because of streaming it's really hard for songs to debut high now especially for new artists like Louisa. It started low last week and the real test was this week and it has risen 7 places which is good. I have heard it on radio and tv a few times which is promising. I think Syco need to stick with acts even if they don't have immediate success.

Also, I liked the strategy of getting her to feature on someone else's track. They should continue that next year and maybe even do it twice before the winner releases their own material. Look at Jess Glynne, she had 2 no.1s on other people's tracks before she released solo material.

Syco are changing a bit - they keep those on the roster they. Want to, they only really drop the winners who don't live up to the hype - Louisa had her tears feature so it isn't so bad - they are also postponing her album for a few singles that's the best way for a new artist. They learnt lesson from Fleur rushing the album was a stupid idea - but it's all good Louisa will be okay

Only heard the song when she was on XF but it didn't make any impression on me.

It seems like a mistake after Tears as I think that is far more the sort of music she should be making. She needs to be making that sort of pop music with a dance or r&b edge that appeals to her own age group.
