Good to see her at No 11 this morning, and rising.

She would be much better suited going down the r&b/soul route, but that wont happen sunder SYCO who has'nt a clue abut those genres.

She's hanging around pretty well. It doesn't bother me but I think some people might not like how adult her image has gone (especially on X Factor). I think that might be why she's not burning up the top ten. I personally don't care how people dress when they sing. She's got a great voice ands seems nice so I hope she does well. I'm hoping for something down the R&B route for sure. But you're right, SYCO's specialities aren't really with urban music.

looks like she will be in the top 10 before the end of today which is not a bad effort really for what is not the greatest of songs really.

If you want to be an R&B artist, is the X factor the right way to go?

On the show I was never convinced that Louisa knew how to interpret a song. Yes, great technical skills, reminiscent of Joss Stone but was she ever actually into the music?
'So good' is the first time I've heard her do something she actually might be into. The album might be ok based on that.

Joss Stone has a great voice too but in the end....a disappointing career?

Joss Stone has has a very good career so far. All of her albums have charted well. she is not a singles artist.

I wondered what had prompted it's second wind and then I noticed they'd slashed the price by almost half.

They'll be offering it as BOGOF with Sax next.

Hilarious sax is still full price!

Thought they'd found her niche with Tears do why not stick with that sort if song rather than back to bland?

Because tears was all clean bandit with a guest vocalist which could've been anybody

It's No 8 and that is all that matters. I cant see any of the remaining finalist getting anywhere near that position tbh, unless they are giving them away free.

It's definitely grown on me as the weeks have gone on

For Syco all that matters is whether they make a profit. If they have to slash the price to give her a bump into the top 10 it's not a great sign for overall profitability.

The fact that she has got in the top ten with what is an ordinary single shows the potential that she has. Given better material she would do even better.

That's not my point. As she did well as a guest vocalist and the ring appealed to the target audience and sgd group, I think they're crazy not to continue down a more youthful, dance influenced route for her. That's what other labels do for acts who have started their careers as guest vocalists

I actually like her song 'so good' but expect more bops come album release

She's not in the top ten yet. She's at number 18.

Cherry picking a particular hour in the iTunes chart is not representative of the actual chart.

She nearly. Went top 10 a couple weeks ago but she's had longevity with the and selling weekly it will be a certified hit for her and shel have another probably Feb time

I think So Good is a pretty decent song. Getting into the top 10 is really hard these days as the same songs dominate the charts for weeks on end. I think overall it can be judged as a success. The problem with Syco is that they drop people immediately. The fact it has got a lot of radio play and stayed in the charts for a while is promising, so they should keep her for a bit.

Btw I'm not a big Louisa fan, just saying it as I see it.

Sounds like she's been listening more to Amy Winehouse than Joss Stone based on that Live Lounge. Louisa still doesn't convince me she is actually into the music, it all seems to be technique, which is very good but not enough.
