I HAVE to know the result first thing on Sunday morning.

Then if I want to watch something else, even if it's on demand or recorded I can do.

Me too!!!
It irritates me beyonf belief if someone lets it slip on the forum!!
I love all the tension in the Sunday night show!!

Yes, I do.

Many many thanks to the moles and organisers of the Spoiler thread

Yes I do like the results on Saturday night. Partly because I am not necessarily around to watch the Sunday show, partly because the faux loooooooong pauses between individual couple announcements irritate me rather than 'increase tension' and partly because I like doing something I'm sort of not supposed to be doing - getting the result before the broadcast.

If the spoiler thread did not exist (and I love it dearly ) I would be no more likely to watch the results show unless it aired later on Saturday night. Then I might.

Exactly, the manufactured tension makes it unwatchable for me unless i already know.

Yup, I love being able to know who's out before I go to sleep on Saturday night. It's then hilarious having to pretend you don't know when you contribute in the other threads.

Exactly. That can be hard too.

Even worse when you are uber careful and someone misreads your post and because they know the result claim you posted a spoiler!

I love knowing the result, and during the results show play along at wondering who is in trouble only to have one member of the family saying 'shut up, you already know the result'. I also hate the suspense thing so can sit back and just enjoy.

It depends. If my favourites have had a bit of a bollocking from the judges and low marks then I tend to check the strictly spolier on twitter. Just for reassurance.

Checking the spoiler thread is part of my Strictly experience and I am so grateful to those who make it happen.
Part of my reason for wanting to know is that I cannot stand OTT reactions when the naughty voters do not follow the correct order of voting. I therefore like to know if we are in for an evening of po faced judges telling us the British public have voted for the "wrong person" or that shock horror someone is in the dance off who does not "deserve" to be. I get sick of the po faced indignation and so forewarned is forearmed.

Because I remember the days when they used to give the result live (or at least on the same evening), it feels like a point of principle to me to get the result at the 'right' time - ie when they happen - rather than being made to wait. For that reason, I'm grateful to the spoiler thread. That said, I do understand people enjoying waiting for the show. If they'd never provided a Saturday night result in the first place I'd probably feel the same way.

I do like to know but it wouldn't be the end of the world if the result wasn't available on the Saturday night.

Sometimes it's nice to watch the Sunday show not knowing what is going to happen.

No, I prefer to watch unspoiled. Partly because my elderly aunt and I always have a few Strictly-related text conversations on Sundays about the show and who we liked and who we think will go this week etc. She doesn't have the internet and I'd feel as though I was 'cheating' in some way to know in advance and pretend otherwise, or let it slip and spoil her enjoyment.

After someone accidentally posted a spoiler in another thread the other week I've gone back to avoiding DS from late Sat night through Sunday until the results show airs, which is a little frustrating as that's a high-traffic time but it's not the end of the world.

Personally I'd prefer to go back to live show & results on the same day and do away with the whole fakery and spoiler nonsense altogether, but I can understand why the BBC makes the most of spinning out its flagship show over seven nights rather than six.

Yes! So much so that I have spoilerite 'friends' who text me the result if I can't get online for any reason.
For me it's a mixture of reasons, hate the long pauses, some of the guest acts have been painful, stops my brain wondering who's gone, but also, because I can.

I've followed the spoiler thread almost as long as it's been going. Huge thanks to all involved, now, and in the past.
Long live the pandacam!

I record the show Sunday night and watch it about half an hour later so I can FF any fluff.

I like all the suspension and not knowing who is going home. Makes it much more fun

Yes I do, and am grateful to those who go out of their way to provide them.

Check the result.

Record the Sunday show.

Then just watch the pro dances.

Don't watch the dance off, as I saw them the first time around.

The rest is just padding.

I check so that I do not have to sit through dance off, and the shitty lights and sounds of doom, just want the chat those staying in and the dance the rest is time filler for me

I like to know the result, although I watch the Sunday show too . Thank you to all the people who make the spoiler possible

I like to know the result and love to be part of the spoiler thread.

If someone goes that I particularly like I sometimes don't watch that part of the results show. I couldn't cope with the result being live.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

I hate the forced squirmfest when revealing those dancing next week so suits me just fine.

I rarely post but love the banter on the spoiler thread and would also like to send thanks to everyone who contributes. I may sit down with a bar of chocolate and a glass of wine and join you during the wait sometime

I am very glad to know and very grateful to the spoiler thread organisers. I don't find the results of Strictly an enjoyable kind of tension, I'd rather know. I watch the results show for the pro dancing, not the tension.

It is my guilty pleasure and I usually love the spoiler thread as it is usually so friendly and joining in on some cyber threats as we wait for the results
