I do love looking and knowing on the night as I like to see if my favourites got through but, I never knew the spoiler thread existed until a few years ago so I clearly didn't mind waiting until Sunday night. Always watch the results show though, it's fun guessing in what order they'll be read out

I like to know on Saturday. I don't watch the results show as I don't think it's very good. I read the Spoiler thread and find out who has gone then that's that till next week.

I might have mentioned Oksana 10 times a day since the 1st time I saw her.

They found about Laura and Tameka online, twitter or facebook I think, I did tell them I was flattered they'd gone to so much effort. Tho the haters often do seem to know as much about where to find stuff as the fans.

yeh I appreciate the spoiler warnings, it's so much better than having everyone say it all over the site - or forcing the ones who do know to keep quiet till Sunday. It suits everyone this way. I just wanted to know if I was the only one who heeded the red flags.

Always look but could happily live without it.

Quite amusing to sit with my old mum on a Sunday night listening to her speculate who the bottom two will be whilst I feign ignorance and surprize.

That would be the ideal, I can't think of any other shows that do it over 2 nights

Yes I do. I also look at the end of a book to see if it's worth reading...

Always. I like to brace myself in case it's one of my favourites and can relax if it's not!

Yes.
I find the whole dance off profess tedious and unnecessary.
Dancing the same dance again, why? And under the eminent danger of leaving. I don't recall seeing the winner of the DO cheering while the other couple commiserates. Loose-loose for me. No need for all that in my opinion.
So to wait for another day just to find out who leaves I wouldn't. I read the spoiler, them watch on demand the results show ot see the talk in the Clauditorium and the final dance. I alwasy fastforward the DO.

I always want to know the spoiler for this because I have anxiety. The Strictly result may not be much in the grand scheme of my life, but every little thing can tip the balance some days - and I find the lights & music on the results show unpleasantly stressful if I don't know the result ahead of time.

For Bake Off, I avoid spoilers if I can't watch the show live - but that is because you see the challenges & the results as part of the same show - and they also don't drum up the angst levels with a ridiculously long pause backed with nerve-wracking heartbeat music.

The results show is a waste of 40 minutes to be honest. Aside from the featured pro dance number the rest is boring. I wish they'd just show the results on Saturday night we all know its filmed then anyway.

Totally agree with you. I am sure it was like that but I could be wrong.

I always check out the spolier thread on Saturday night, I find it much more exciting waiting to get the result on here. I email my Mother-in-law who also likes to know!
Big thanks to the posters on here and moles who make it possible, I would really miss it if we didn't have it!
I watch the Sunday show but I find it rather padded out.

I love to know the results beforehand, and was always impatient for the Sunday show, (and i only learnt that i could find out on a Saturday last year, so that was great for me)!

Now i sit on a Sunday evening, about 10-15 minutes after the show gas started, and try and guess in which order the saved couples will be called out by Tess (sad i know)! and fast forward quite a lot of the less interesting bits.

Of course. As soon as it happens I want to know the result. Now, I rarely watch the result show, but I am not sure if I would watch more frequently if I didnt know the result beforehand.

Keeping an eye on the spoiler thread on Saturday is half the fun of the show. Long live the spoiler thread and thanks to the team who make it work so well. Thanks too to the moderators who allow the spoiler thread to carry on.

I recon they should go back to having the lowest combined score eliminated and instead have the Judges favourite dance and the publics favourite danced again. - Might get the public voting for the better dance rather than who they want to save.

I like to wait.

My thanks to 99.99% of posters who are fantastic at keeping the news away from those who don't want to know.

Now that I could never do. But then again you have no clue of the content whereas with the Strictly spoilers most have probably watched the show.

I NEVER look for spoilers, I like finding out on the Sunday night. I'm a minority in this thread!

I just prefer not knowing until it's shown on TV. There's more suspense- particularly if it's two evenly-matched dancers who are in the bottom two and where the vote could go either way. (hasn't happened yet this series though.)

If a contestant I really care about is in danger I will check the spoiler thread just to put myself out of my misery of worrying about them. Otherwise no - but then I often have people round on Sundays so I don't get to watch the results show until later in the week.

I love reading the spoilers on a Saturday night - then I can choose to watch Sunday or not depending on what other plans I have - I hate missing the main show though. However, conversely, (whispers asI know it can be heresy on here to admit to having any interest at all in it) with the XF nowadays, I am more than happy to miss the main show and only watch the results. They are not spoilered, go out live and you get enough of a flavour of the performances to get a feel for what's going on and don't have to subject yourself to hours of off-key singing on a Saturday night

There is something about live tv that I find quite compelling which you don't get with Sunday night's pre-recorded results show.

Yes I want to know, I rarely watch the show live and if the person voted out isn't one I'm particularly bothered about, I don't bother to watch the results show either.
