Lucy Fallon did look great, but I found it odd that they'd have Bethany wear an outfit that exposed her tummy as a girl who they're trying to portray as having body image issues, to the point that eating a sandwich makes her burst into tears.

She does look great and obviously in real life she is older but i wouldn't let my 15 year old daughter dress like that! I remember when she first joined the soap and she was wearing leather hotpants ion one scene. She was 14.

Yes but this is Corrie and now that story is over along with the 'bullying' she can go back to dressing tarty and being gobby like she did when she first arrived.

Putting Bethany with Craig would just be immensely lazy writing. They have nothing in common other than being neighbours. Craig is a thoughtful and generally nice lad but Bethany is pretty shallow, immensely vain and very image conscious. I don't think she'd see Craig as a worthy suitor on that basis. Whilst he would probably worship the ground she walks on, I doubt she would fancy him or see find him 'exciting' enough. Lets not forget that last year she was drug running for Callum just to get close to him!!

It's not odd at all, I work with lots of teenagers with eating disorders and they dress like that.

The person referred to in the thread title is the character - a child. This is why the thread is strange. You wouldn't talk about a child in real life like that would you?

Yeah, it does seem a bit inappropriate. Kind of like the EE Bex and Louise threads. It's just that the characters are every young, and in the latter's case, wear school uniforms (I don't watch Corrie so can't comment on this particular character).

I guess in the OP's defence she has turned 16 now so whilst it would be inappropriate for an 'old git' like me to be 'appreciating' her too much, for the younger thread members it's not like she's illegal or anything!!
