I love Kevin-in-his-hat. (with OR without glasses)

I must be having a crisis.

Hey, crises are not that bad. Fun, even. Perhaps I'll have some more.

Only on DS forums could wearing a hat and even be self conscious of going bald could equal 'having a crisis'.

I'm sure he had a crisis trying to teach Louise Rednapp the rumba, maybe he's in recovery.

Disagree entirely.

They will get their highest score this week (I'm thinking 38) and top the leaderboard. That will be their launchpad off the "plateau".

Lovely to see DS forum members advising on etiquette.

Because this forum always treats people with such respect, doesn't call people by silly nicknames, make fun of them..............etc etc.

Perhaps we just take our cue from our 'betters' and when the upper echelons start treating people with respect and stop calling each other silly nicknames so will we ...

So wearing a hat indoors denotes a crisis.?

What about the man in the hat who we all loved in Dave Arch's band? Was he is crisis.?

No one else left to bash. let's start another round on the Clifton's.

And some fell on stony ground.

And no, I'm not proselytizing either.

Ah no...stand strong and true; be your own person aggs!

Seriously though. Who cares about silly hats, forms of address etc. It is the respect and consideration people give to others that counts, and in my view, Kevin always seems to be a considerate and well liked pro partner. His celeb partners appear to love dancing with him.

Edit:,

Apologies Muggsy. Just seen your post. I guess I was a bit sharp as you were not being serious.

Is this part of the wistful look back at the 'good old days' where everyone kept saying Darren Bennett had a wig?

Have we decided who's pregnant this year yet? Without Lilia and Ola we need a new candidate.

It is very rare I need to look up the meaning of a word- especially on this forum, but you got me here.

No problem.

I didn't think the thread was started for a serious discussion of Kevin's emotional state.

Well, at least we can all be entirely confident that Kevin's detractors can find nothing much to criticise about his dancing, choreography or support of his dancing partner, as it is now conclusively revealed that in fact his most significant shortcoming is having the audacity to wear a hat and glasses sometimes.

So glad that's all crystal clear.

I'm guessing it won't be Lesley

Female dancer puts paint all over her face, wears fake hair, totters around on impractical shoes designed to create a false impression of height - no comment. Male dancer wears a hat - he must be having a crisis.

I think this warrants a 🙄

Since that never happens on DS, you don't need to know the word really.....

Yes it is, but so is the right of other posters to say how boring and repetitive they find the never ending anti Clifton threads.

*applause*

I loved the hat and glasses look, he is a bit quirky and can pull it off.

This forum is the epitome of etiquette, good manners, courtesy, and respect.

That's very true, we need a new pregnant token, anyone will do.

Maybe he is just bumping up his "quirkyness" as there now seems to be another hyper, loud, in your face pro in the SCD house

Neil with his hyper, loud, in your face persona seems to be very popular with the fans plus he has one up on Kevin because he has that lovely ginger topping

Does he? The most I see of him in the media is people constantly asking who that is lurking in the back of shot in Claudia's area. I guess it's more of a profile than Chloe has...

Couldn't stand him up until this series, now I'm warming to him but having a nice partner like Louise helps. I still think he's been lucky with his choice of partners since his debut. Then again, Ms Reid wasn't as good as she thought!

There's no evidence from what we've seen unless someone has an over-active imagination, so it's a pointless thread.

But it isn't the first.
