Well, she is perhaps a little taller now.....

Oh, the irony.

You complaining about anti-Clifton posts is just as tedious, believe me. I don't bother getting involved with either 'side', but as a lurker, those who choose to complain over other FMs posts because they're negative to the Clifton's (or anyone else) are far more annoying and boring; at least those people are offering something to the discussion instead of whining on about how unfair it all is because their opinion doesn't match your own.

Yet your opinion there is just as subjective as anyone else's.

Being a self-identified "lurker" doesn't suddenly mean you're this bastion of neutrality. Anyone who has been around these forums for a while is going to have their own emotionally-fuelled perceptions of certain topics.

What, like, Kevin's hair? Why do TPTB keep giving Kevin ringers (been a few of those)? Why is it Strictly Come Cliftons (been a few of those too)? These are interesting and constructive to you are they? Does repeating the same question make them more alluring? Personally, belly button fluff is more absorbing.

Another Knock Kevin thread. I think the next one should discuss his toilet habits.”

I wonder if he uses his left or right hand to wipe his @rse?

His hat, probably. Or his wig - or is it a toupe?

The bitching about Kevin - because that's all it amounts to - is beyond tedious.

Its about as tedious as people bitching about other people bitching about Kevin. There would be nothing wrong with Kevin that a course of Humble Tablets would not fix.

I thought the same. He seems to think he is some sort of a celebrity, and so does his wife. I quite like Joanne though, so I'm not bashing the whole family!

Well, maybe that's because they actually are.

They're far more *enjoyable to read than the constant babbling from the Clifton fans because the Clifton's were dared criticised yet again.

We all have opinions and should be free to express without posters crying because a few pros get slated.

*Well, they were, until posters started flooding them with their faux-outcry.

The drummer in the Hollies wore a hat for that reason IIRC.

He does look a right muppet with that hat on.

No, they're not. They are slightly famous and known by people who watch strictly, in the same way as people from TOWIE etc are known for having their faces on television. Kevin seems to be modelling himself on Olly Murs and is extremely irritating. A celebrity to me is someone known and "celebrated" by a wider audience.

They're household names - which is more than can be said for half of this years line-up of "celebrities".

Celebrities are people who have a recognisable talent or skill, for which they are best known - and a public profile which goes along with it. The Cliftons now all meet those criteria, whether you like it or not.

Don't let personal dislike of them get in the way of reality.

The Cliftons? Household names?

Stupid thread.

Why is there so much negativity for the Cliftons on here, I don't get it?

They have spent 3 months of the year on one of the most widely watched shows on Prime time UK television for a few years now, so yes I think that probably means they have become household names. My OH doesn't even watch Strictly... and he's heard of them all.

Don't let your prejudices and bizarre dislike of them to detract from the facts.

They are not as popular since they got rid of the Ostrich.

Thanks for sharing that link. I attempted to learn to play the clarinet about 20 years ago. It was interesting reading about the change of tempo and key in one of the posts. I shall follow their page from now on. xx
