As in Leelah, hehe. Did you know that she was Colin Baker's assistant?

Even though Colin Baker (who is in Belfast at the moment) is quoted as saying so in our local paper, I always thought his assistants were Nicola Bryant and then Bonnie Langford!!

Nevermind continuity errors on the show, here's one in real life!

I haven't been to one for years, but they were always good fun and well worth a visit.

Yes, please call me Den - we're a friendly bunch here. Everybody's welcome.

So do you reckon the person the Doctor thinks is long dead but comes back then is.....

Clive?

Is he a regenerated timelord perhaps?

Personally, I don't buy it myself - but I do think it will be another Timelord, since the Doctor takes every opportuinity to remind us he's the last one.

Love it! It's also quite scary that Colin and Tom Baker have grown (literally and figuratively) so alike in later life!

I'm also quite proud of the fact that I have not only indoctrinated my German lodger into the new series but into bad wolf to the extent that he is tracking down website URLs snaffled by the Beeb with relevant names for their future...wish I was technical, sadly I fear even with a sonic screwdriver I would remain locked out until he returned home

Returning to the plot lest I get fined for digression - "Father's Day" almost topped "Dalek" as my favourite episode but the holes in the plot were slightly larger than the holes in the timeline so it lost marks...like this is going to keep anyone awake at night but just thought I'd mention it.

Blimey, that's a thought...there was a lingering close-up on him just before the Auton cashed in his chips...hmmm...how many die hard fans would welcome Kate O'Mara guesting in Episode 11? (sorry, couldn't resist).

Ah, but if you had a Tardis key you could make your home materialise wherever you wanted it to

Well, I'm ok with that I suppose, as long as she doesn't do any more Bonnie Langford impressions - I don't want nightmares

With my luck it'd materialise looking like next door's house and I'd get confused

This is disturbing...but if it were to be Clive coming back in Episode 11 it would make sense...and I did think Mark Benton was a bit of a name for such a cameo...all that trawling through archives for sightings of the Doctor...devoting his life to it...hmmmm...you might be onto something here Den...

Well, it was a bit of a throwaway comment to be honest, but I'll leave you to ponder on it.

Personally I agree with Alrightmate who thinks it will be an as yet unseen timelord who the Doctor meets.

I'd prefer it not to be the Rani, or Davros.

Unless he was purposely killed off so that Mickey could take over his website..?

What happened to Davros was a shame - in Genesis he was (and still is as my nephew attests watching it on vid) dead scary but he just turned into a panto villain and what was with the make-up they used? He started off wizened and got fatter and fatter and pinker and pinker...very strange...maybe RTD can reinvent him too or is that hoping for too much? I kind of prefer the daleks under their own steam anyway...apologies to "Father's Day" viewers who may find me digressing again...you'll get used to me...

But is the website a red herring? A bit of fun for us fans? Or something altogether more sinister?

Hmm - Davros as the original idea for Mr. Blobby?

I much preferred the Daleks on their own too - they had teeth back then. Davros seemed to turn them into little more than puppets, and they we definitely not scary any more.

To be honest, I recckon if anyone could reinvent Davros it would be RTD. Not sure he'd want to though....

There are some thoughts on these forums that reckon Adam may go on to become Davros (the 'eye' in the centre of his head bing the implant he had in the year 200,000, or that he may form the Cyberman race.

It's worth noting that since Mickey took it over, it has adverts for Geocomtex on there.

Agree with all that...as for Adam...anything's possible but I'm wary of all the conjecture since I only go by onscreen stuff and know nothing (and care slightly less) about the novels and audios that have sprung up while the show's been off air so there are whole swathes of stuff of which I know nothing...mind you, liked Paul McGann's brief turn so what do I know?

But how did he take it over? He never met Clive, he was swallowed by a wheelie bin outside Clive's house wasn't he? Surely there would've been passwords and stuff that he couldn't have got hold of...I think it's a fishy thing with a crimson tinge, albeit an amusing one...

Your right of course, especially about the passwords. Clive would know about 128 bit encryption and hardened passwords, especially as he was a 'lone gunman' type, and everything was a conspiracy as far as he was concerned.

I think it's just a bit of fun for people following the series, to be honest.

(The fact that Geocomtex now sponsors his website though could have meant that Mickey alerted them to the Doctor and his tardis ages ago - just an aside.)

Presumably the theory is that he went back to Clive's house after Rose went off with the Doctor in an attempt to find out more about him.

Did Clive's family get killed with him in 'Rose'? I can't remember...
If not, Micky could've got the passwords/computer with stored passwords from his wife...

Possible...but it's a bit of a wrench considering Ricky...I mean Mickey isn't the sharpest claw in the crab nebulae now is he?

I promised myself I wouldn't get drawn into all this before "Rose" aired, lol, famous last words...what gets me really paranoid is any one of us could be RTD planting red herrings on these sights...there's a bad wolf site with a forum and the poster called The Doctor has got CE's dialogue down to a tee, it's highly worrying...

I like Adam starting the Cyberman race though...that makes sense in a weird kind of way and of course with a name like Adam you'd expect him to start something...mind you, Clive's an anagram of C EVIL whatever that means

That's told me then!!

Well there - a little thing I didnt know. All my three sons have blue eyes, so they never changed. I knew hair colour could change, but always thought eye colour was pre-determined.

The things you learn on DS. A world of information!!

Yes indeed. I wonder if such a one as RTD would appear out of the blue, and list 'writing' as a hobby in his personal profile?

Naaah. He'd never do that
