Best episode so far. The ending may have been obvious but I would've thought it was meant to be so I can't figure why people are surprised by that. Ever since "The Aztecs" we've known time has a course that it should stick on.
I was glad to see Paul Cornell didn't let me down. Anyone familiar with his novels knows his real strong point is his ability to deal with characters (the wonderful "Human Nature" springs to mind). This was no exception with the Tylers evincing more depth than any episode before. It was also the darkest so far, perhaps the most mature. Less time for mugging Doctor and so on. Well done all. |

Undoubtedly the best episode yet. Billie Piper outshining Christopher Ecclestone week in week out and I never thought I'd think that in a month of sundays. AND who would have RTD would shape up to be the scriptwriters weakest link given his previous form

Wow, Billie Piper excelled herself tonight, didn't she? I never thought she would be able to act as well as she has proven she can. It's so hard to do emotional scenes like that but she pulled them off like a pro. Good for her!
Very good episode again! Yep, spotted the bad wolf references, it'd had better amount to something now! Just one quick little question, why didn't the Doctor regenerate when he was killed by the reaper? Was it because of the nature of the beast or something? |

I cried about six times!
Wonderful throughout. There was a real mix of humour along with the poignancy and the suspense. Because we care about Rose now it was all the more compelling. Imagine how gutting it will be when the Doctor dies... As a series "theme", people are spotting money and big business. Here, an underlying theme, apart from the nature of time, was about the importance of the ordinary person. It felt like quite a key point when the Doctor was talking to the couple getting married and saying they were just as important as anyone else. In other words- the developing underlying theme of the whole series is; Socialism- or at least a Socialist way of life. |

I wasn't expecting much tonight but I was wrong, I was blown away. This is, in my opinion, the best episode of the series so far.

Very moving... It made my eyes fill up too.. Well done, best one yet..
The rule of time is never to mess with the past.. A paradox will wipe out the universe. Events can not be changed.. what happens should be left to happen.. |

Did anyone notice there appeared to be a older version of Rose and the Doctor in the wedding congregation they were wearing similar clothes and everything does that mean they are going to revisit 1987 in the future?
Excellent episode by the way |

Really the first Rose and Doctor should have diappeared the instant the second Rose ran in front of them...but to make the viewer notice all events their disappearnace was probably pushed back a few seconds.

I'm out to touch with everyone else posting here tonight. I found it very dull and nauseatingly emotional. I like my aliens in Dr. Who!
Maybe I'm just a cold fish

I've requested the poll. If anybody else can that will be helpful. Just go the Beth's post on page 1 and hit the alert button
