I agree with you, I do think that we should feel for Rose, afterall she learnt a lot of home truths about her father and his and her mothers relationship and what he was really like, not to mention having to witness the death of her father.
However she did act very selfishly and that was all that I was highlighting, but I will concede that it was in an over zealous way

I do agree that she has learnt her lesson, well we can hope that she has

And I do think that she will have a much better understanding of the Doctor and he of her and humanity as a whole.

I totally agree with you there and that it what I meant when I said that the end was obvious but fitted perfectly for the story told
