Things really are building up.

I see a lot of people are comparing Sean's reign (which has barely started yet) to that of Lorraine Newman. I absolutely hated the Newman era, and found myself constantly complaining about the state of the show (like many are now), so I stopped watching. Maybe a few people on here would benefit from taking a bit of time out.”

It's going to be like this every time EE gets a new EP. Everyone will go ahh it's Newman all over again ah it's Birkwood run for the hills....

I'd feel sorry for Lee if the actor wasn't so wooden and useless.

You can really tell that he and Johnny are brothers

Decent episode, probably the best of the lot this week.

Nice interaction among the characters.

I really can't take to Johnny, just something about his acting, sorry!

I glad there building up friendships, even if its a bit contrived like Jack and Mick.

I think the show needs to drop this bin gate plot, its benign and boring, its fine having subtle everyday issues thrown in but not verging on three weeks, bin it.

Same, also the sl under dtc was crap. The witing for his sl has got a little better but with an unconvincing actor I just don't care for him.

Bingate is shit, why is this still a sl??

Lauren sulking at her friends hen do fgs, she's lucky sexy Steven has settled for a bore like her. I hope Steveb dumps her soon, and she can go and stay with her mother.

I was sort of agreeing with you, there are other people he could ask (it's unrealistic that no one in EE has any friends who live in other areas, they seem to abandon their old ones the minute they set foot in the place) but Ian wouldn't be one of them. However, at least Mick/Jack have been said to be friends even if we haven't seen much of their friendship so it's not totally out of the blue.”

sorry I never meant Jack should ask Ian its just I was making the point he's known Ian for 10 years as opposed to Mick he;s known for 6 months. What about his cousins or Max or a bent cop friend from the past. No. That would be realistic. Mick makes much more sense to be Jack's best man

wasn't it been mentioned time and time again how few friends Ronnie and Jack have. They are very insulate in their families, so it isn't odd with Max awol. I imagine Max would have been it. And Ian's family helped wrongly imprison his brother...I really doubt he'd ask them. So who else does he have? Billy? Masood (Whose leaving)

It's a shame we'll never see these Paintball sessions in EE. It could be rather fun [and unique?] for the show.

Sharon, what do you [do] for a job? Seriously.

I can see why Lee never sees these guys...

Gross Lee!

Hmm. Louise taunting Shakil about his 'V Plates' so he'll do the two birds with one stone with her?

Bingate continues. Silly Billy

Lee, please smack this so called mate of yours before this night is through.

The Jack x Mack bromance continues also!

Steven is Louie's dad in all that matters. Him being there and loving him.

Tbh, I can see Claudette's point. She's being bratty about it, but Patrick is making everything about Dot of late.

Dammit. Lee x Whitney will be over soon... I'd be very surprised if he's depression doesn't end up killing him now

Does Lee really have a job? I felt glimpses of him faking the whole thing last night and leaving in a suit every morning to sit in park?

Why was Steven as the stag, Lee and Steven have never had any interaction before (though their chat was good). And the remarks from Kush and Martin were ridiculous as well, they have been BFs for maybe 1 year but act as they've been friends since primary school.

Sick of Saint Stacey who sounds more and more like Sonia with her grandma behaviour, and who would invite Sharon to the hen night or what it was supposed to be.
I know it has to do with costs etc but Bianca would normally definately have visited as she always had a special bond with Whitney.

Yes, Sharon "I'm rushed off me feet" from WHAT ridiculous behaviour, as lazy as Lauren

^ I think Sharon is exhausted from seeing Phil in hospital, dealing with Denny's mischievous behaviour and she works in the Vic.

I think he had a job but sadly he was let go and he is keeping up with the pretence he is going to work. Lee is a proud bloke and he feels like a failure and he doesn't want to disappoint Whitney and his family, in my opinion.

kush and Martin go way back. They were friends long before they came to the square and in the same football team.

Agree about Sharon. Why would Whitney want her anywhere near her after she treated her like dog dirt and did her best to get her sacked.

Lauren was drinking Prosecco! Have they forgotten she's supposed to be an alcoholic?

I apologise that I was not around Friday as I was at a Halloween do. I've finally caught up with it this afternoon.

Lee's mate is rather hot I remember him from Bad Education. He's the sort of lad, you'd want a good time with and he'd say yes. God I am terrible The stripper looked like a reject from them cheap Babestation channels - the sort whose punana is like Old Trafford. They should have shown the sex scene. Got to admit, I am liking the community spirit in the show at the moment and some of the friendships such as Stacey, Whitney and Lauren's. Despite the issues with Sharon and Whitney, I'm glad they're getting on with each other as well. People forgive and forget. Once again, Lauren makes it all about her. I kind of hope she leaves and please f--- off to New Zealand and just have her written out and let Abi take centre stage. Steven can't be trusted, and I reckon there is more with Peter. However, Steven has stepped up as Dad. Lee's lies are going to catch up with him. I know he's a proud lad, but I don't think the job is what it is. I am gutted he is going...please re-consider SOC and axe Lauren instead. I know she has her fans on here, but I can't stand her!

Poor Dot...there's something not right with her. She's a very ill and frightened old lady. Sadly Halloween / Bonfire Night can be daunting for older people. She's lucky she has a good friend like Patrick. I wonder what Claudette is up to with that Bernard - has she got another man on the go? She's very emotionally manipulative, and that dark side is shining through. Ellen Thomas knows how to play a good villian Rather Patrick and Dot.

As for Stratford....does it matter where L+W live? It's not that far on the Tube ffs. I do like Linda, but I find her a bit too over-bearing. I know all Mum's are protective of their sons, but I am glad she listened. Sharon said it right, it could be worse but I do see it from Linda's slant and their slant.

It was sweet with Shaki and Bex. She's a wise young lady, and being a virgin is not a sin. Would they rather Bex be a total slapper with lots of kids? I just hope Shaks does see through it and respects her.

Dona and Vincent with the bin, a bit childish and out of order. If there is an issue speak to your local councillor (unless they've gone who does zip all like mine)

I'd have voted Good in the Poll - 8/10
