I think Danny and Oti may be in a shock dance off at some point, as I think many will assume they are safe as Danny has been consistently good week after week and viewers will have other favourites they want to keep safe.

I also think Judge Rinder will be out fairly soon, as the 'fun' vote will be split between him and Ed. I also predict Ed will last a lot longer than people think and knock a few contenders out in the public vote as he is coming across very well and very likeable.

Leaderboard was over two weeks, a nice dance but not been a fan I can't remember it all. That's her problem and Daisy's too.

I love Laura, she's my favourite contestant.

But she's not in my top 3 as I think Danny and Ore are so far ahead, it wouldn't seem fair if they weren't in the top 3 and I have a little obsession with Oksana so Rinder gets in as my #3.

But if he doesn't make a massive improvement (which tbh I'm not that hopeful about) then I'd like Laura in the final instead, atm she deserves it more. Her quickstep was amazing. She can be cautious, I think the Latin embarrasses her a bit but she's good and she seems like a really nice girl too. Really hope she can get through tomorrow with no pain and no dance off. She's not just better than the public thinks she is but better than she thinks she is

The trouble is that even more important than dance abillity, the ability to capture people's imagination is key in the early rounds. The Judge's first dance, Ore's AS, Ed's Whatever, Greg too to a lesser extent with his first-week jive... they're all stand-out imagination-siezing moments.

Where did I read this? People will forget what you say. They'll forget what they thought. They will never forget what you made them feel.* That's a bad paraphrase but it seems right for Strictly voting in the early rounds.

I love the way you talk about Laura, EthanE and you're probably right, as far as I can judge. But better and worse dancers have stood out more than Laura. It's not fair. If she stays long enough, maybe she'll get her breakthrough dance... but it is such a tough year

I am very open-minded on Greg v Rinder as Greg seems to have stalled a little with his Latin. Similarly, open-minded on Daisy v Claudia. Am feeling that Claudia might surprise me in a good way a little more over the next few dances...

The elimination order will probably be different , but I will keep 'voting my favourite'.
