Its not surprising news but his LinkedIn profile confirmed he has left EastEnders this month. I wish him well for the future. I hope the new story producer has some major storylines in the pipeline.

Didn't he leave sometime ago?

He made his twitter private because people were stalking him and now it's his linked in.

I might not like a lot of his work but give the guy a break!

He was doing his job at the end of the day, his boss was happy with what he was doing, he seemingly was enthusiastic about his job (yes I looked at his twitter when ppl kept posting it here)

He is / was just a member of crew on Eastenders and this fixation on him is bizarre

IT was rumoured he had gone because of his Twitter account.

I wish him all the best for the future of his career and look forward to seeing what his replacement had to offer.

The OP is wishing him well for the future and is not doing a wickedly gleeful dance at his departure

There's some rather new names as writers during the credits now. At least ones I didn't see during the DTC years. Hopefully SOC has kept Daran Little and Sharon Batten around, their episodes are quite good. Daran is effective writing Ian and Sharon episodes.

Daran is one of the best writers on the show in my view. They'd be insane if they let him go.

I wish Alex well but obviously his vision didn't fit Seans.

I'd say the best writer in soaps at the moment.

Goodluck to him, seems he already got a new job and probably go the same route as previous and work his way with producing credits.

I look forward to seeing the new direction the show is going to go, onwards and upwards!

I'm really not surprised. - Sean O'Connor hasn't given him much to work with. - I'd be getting bored in the office too.

3 years is a long stint and a new producer usually brings in a new story producer. I wonder who has replaced him?

Best of luck to him.

I'll do that wickedly gleeful dance

Yes, good luck to the man and I hope he goes on and his work gets better with other things.

But I am glad he's gone.

I hope they hang on to Darran Little, I get a feeling he'll be lured back to corrie.

This I agree with. Wasn't it DTC who lured him in the first place from Corrie?

Good.

Let him work on something we call all never hear off or can easily avoid.
