V3 Voicemail ringer delay
Hi,
I have had my V3 for a while now but the one thing which I find annoying is that it diverts to my voicemail after only 3-4 rings. There is nothing in the menus to allow me to change this. I bought it off ebay and had it unlocked from Orange and use it on my Virgin pay as you go. Does anybody know how to change the default delay time? Many thanks |

You would have to call your voice mail number, and there would be an option to change it in there

Tried that, but it only gives me options to change my PIN and record a greeting message. It does not give any options for any other settings.
Thanks |

I think you have to ring them to have the voicemail ring settings changed |

I think its a motorola thing.
I have a v80 and found it really annoying that people seemed to be hanging up after two or three rings...most people denied it when asked, saying it had rang for longer. So i tried it myself and for some reason it seems to ring a few times before anything happens on the phone. Dunno if this helps? Carl |
