Sorry to say but the live singers tonight have murdered and massacred the songs so far tonight, poor Pete Burns must be turning

I can just imagine Pete's comments. He didnt hold back throwing some shade.

It has to be some of the worst music ever.

Nah, not Pete Burns. He'd probably be laughing at them.

On a separate note, are the singers this year different to those they've had in the past.

I recognised the male singer with that smokey tone in his voice but the others I'm unsure of.

The musical performances were not the problem - it was the choice of music which was abysmal beyond belief.

I agree, where was the fun Halloween music - monster mash, time warp?

Already said on another thread that the music was dire - but no harm in saying it again - dire, dire, dire.

The male singers are definitely the same and I think the females are as well.

I remember Lance Ellington on New Faces in the 70s or early 80s as part of a duo called Koffee and Kreme.

I doubt he'd be laughing. He could be quite poisonous, but funny with it.

That was one of the worst Halloween shows since they've started doing them imo. The music was horrific.

No the singers are exactly the same.

Hayley Sanderson, Lance Ellington, Andrea Grant, Tommy Blaize.

The singing was absolutely fine, some of the music choices were awful. Especially the two Charleston's.

the music choices killed some of the dances particularly both charlestons and Daisy's paso

Horrible music choices tonight. Really strange versions too.

The music for this season has been poor to put it mildly, but tonight it sank to a depth I hope never to see ever again.

All season they have been desperately trying to shoehorn the most inappropriate music for the totally wrong dances. Culminating tonight in what can be described as a cataclysm of mistimed, poorly arranged, desperate interpretations of less than relevant pieces of music.

Dreadful almost without exception.

I agree and it's not just tonight the choices have been abysmal all series. I would like the pros to get more say in the music for the dance which they have to choreograph.

Exactly.

Why some people on here who obviously know very little about music, can expect band singers with very little rehearsal time to replicate the voices assisted by all sorts of electronic equipment, which probably took weeks to produce, for all sorts of genres of music in one live take, is beyond comprehension.

For what was required, they did an excellent job.
