Seeing as some of the normally best dancers have been getting lower scores than usual from the judges this week, are we going to see the shock of a front runner/favourite to win in the dance-off and possibly heading out the door, while the public still keep in the weakest dancers?

No. it looks likely Anastacia will be one of the couples in the d/o so even if Danny ended up in the bottom two there is no chance of him going.

I am not worried for Oti and Danny, but I am worried for Greg and Natalie. He seems to have had more than his fair share of Latin dances and I think it would be sad if he went before he got a chance to try some proper ballroon. My instinct tells me he will be better at it than Latin, if only because Latin favours the compact dancer and ballroom the tall and slender.

My prediction for the bottom two is a combination of Greg and Natalie, Bendan and Anastacia, the young guy and the gymnast and Rinder and his partner.

I have a feeling you may well be right. I was going to post the same prediction but you beat me to it. I do not think that Ore is as popular with the viewers as Danny is, and people like Rinder and Ed Balls are still going to be saved by the public at this stage at the competition and they both did quite well relatively speaking in the judges' scores. I think the public like Greg too and there will definitely be a supportive public reaction for Greg in light of Craig's comments.
I would guess the judges would vote out Anastacia if this dance off transpires. But you never know. I hope Ore gets through as he has been a stronger dancer than her throughout the series and has been one of the best dancers in the series.

The only three contestants that I would consider to be a shock bottom two are Danny, Ore or Louise, since those are three most likely to get to the final.
