Luke and Tracy have set eyes on each other and things could get steamy

http://www.itv.com/coronationstreet/...luke-and-tracy

First Maria, now Tracy... He does like people with psychopathic tendencies, doesn't he

I quite like Luke and he has the potential to be a decent character, its just a shame that he's been given some stinking storylines over the years (the sexting thing with Steph and the car racing screaming out as the absolute worst).

He needs some decent direction and some storylines of his own to really establish his place on the show. Corrie needs an attractive meathead now that Juicy Jason has gone.

Oh ffs more people dating/ having 'flings' with their neighbours, it's getting ridiculous now. Why not bring in a recurring character as a love interest for Luke? You know, someone that doesn't actually live on the street?

Poor Luke. From dreary Maria to murdering Tracy.

Why does everyone have to have a love interest?

Can't Luke pursue something that has nothing to do with him dipping his wick?

I'd forgotten about that storyline. The 'revenge porn' plot that was quickly brushed under the carpet along with all of the other 'issue' related storylines.

Ah yes, that was it 'revenge porn' not sexting. I'm not up to date with my contemporary lingo, unlike you Ben

Corrie always sweeps anything mildly issue-led under the carpet for some reason, just like Faye's baby, Carla's gambling and Leanne and Simon's domestic abuse.

He had an interest - something about racing cars? I forget cos I fell asleep every time it was mentioned.

No, no. That was an awkwardly shoe-horned in plot as part of the 'revenge porn' storyline

Not everyone wants to know spoilers in advance. Thats what spoiler tags are for.

Unless they are gonna turn luke bad I cant see how it would work.

Much like Tracey and Robert but Lukes much nicer

For goodness sake she's old enough to be his mother and is an absolute horror of a person but because she and Luke are single they must be paired up

To be fair being a 'ladies' man' is about the ony constant character trait Luke has had since he arrived but yeah he would be better off just going out enjoying himself as young lads do, why give him serious relationships especially ones which are clearly ridiculously unsuitable like Tracy??

A couple of mates his own age for him would liven the character up, make him more interesting & balance the number of young females compared to young males on the show a bit!!

A trio of three young men is something Corrie is crying out for in my opinion. They did it really well with Kevin, Terry and Curly in the 80s, which was in itself a clever reworking of the previous trio of Len, Ray and Jerry (none of them young by any stretch of the imagination )

Corrie has the archetypes that have worked, why not use them and tweak them to make them relevant to a 2016 audience? It seems straightforward to me.

No, it would not work because it involves Tracy.

Unless it ends with them moving away for ever, or falling to their doom over a massive cliff.

Your not suggesting Audrey again are you. It didn't work out before and Luke has to work with Freddie which would make it a bit awkward doing oil changes together.

Cheers, KK. My next one should be a good'un - can't beat a 69er.

You're confused that I'm not surprised you'd like a trio of young men in Corrie? Now I'm confused.
