Could be xmas still, lots of the soaps are filming that period currently.
Due to air around New Years, they'll just be wrapping up the Xmas/ New Year period but trying not to reveal too much as they begin to film characters dealing with the aftermath of events.

I must be the only one who thinks that woman in the photo isn't Cora. I would like her to return but I'm not convinced it's Cora/Ann M in that photo.

I don't think it looks like her either. It's probably just an extra, which is why she's taking a photo from the window.

I've been thinking along these lines actually, I think it would be clever if all the lighter material like the bins, Dot's vision, Kim's driving lessons ect... and the references to it are actually hinting at something that is to come. one of them has a wedding flower on his jacket. I've never seen either in the show before.

Not sure how the bins would fit in though because they are off the square? I cannot imagine them doing a bus crash on the existing set as it just doesn't seem practical. They are more likely to do it on an open stretch of the road.

and to add to that, Jay hasn't been found out yet - going to be a miserable xmas/nye - perhaps two motherless children, a grieving Whitney, Max perhaps planning revenge, Lauren still in Walford but really wants to return to NZ with Louis .. could be the saddest ever.
