Plus - 'Big' storyline?

Hardly. Hopefully, someone is selling some porkies to the press.

I think we'll get a few red herrings thrown at us.

I don't think they will film a few endings. They probably film one ending because it's costly if they film different endings and the BBC have a very limited budget.

Twitters having an absolute meltdown about Ronnie and Roxy drowning in a pool. This was printed by The Scum and although it may be true, I wouldn't put any money on it.

So Rita & Sam are filming their final scenes at the moment?

I think its hysterical to honest! Not sure what that says about me! 😁

Ronnie's death sounds hilarious hahaha! SOC must hate the Mitchell sisters!

it does state on soapsquawk that this is only 1 of 4 death scene's being filmed, though as its the only one being mentioned im going to guess this is going to be true

The multiple death scenes sounds like spin to me. its costs too much money to set up stunt scenes. The BBC haven't got that type of money to waste.

I think Sean O'Conner wanted to make a big statement to mark his arrival and this is it but I'm not sure killing both is the right decision personally.

Zoe almost died on Casualty in the same way although she was in a lake not a swimming pool.

If this is true. I can see Ronnie diving in - realising that she is sinking - grabs Roxy's hand says "sisters forever" then see Ronnie actually drown (like Charlie from Lost). Otherwise where is the 'gruesome' bit?!

In a way, part of me is glad because it means they won't be tempted back later on and be new versions of Peggy in later years going on about faaaammmiilllyyy

However Ronnie and Roxy leave, there's going to be a lot of people on here claiming it's 'boring' and if they don't die, plenty of posters will be having a complete meltdown.

I suspect, given how things are looking under SOC's regime, that the papers are either wrong or being fed red herrings. I hope so, it makes all of the build-up much more intriguing.

I can't help but feel Jay and the drugs are involved based on the pics of him and Ronnie running away.

The pics of Jay and Ronnie running could be the actors messing about going by Ronnie's choice of footwear

Not only does the swimming pool story sound rather ridiculous and a rubbish exit for two long serving characters I want justice for fatboy

The pool storyline is so stupid it can't be true... Can it?

The Sun is usually pretty accurate when it comes to spoilers.

This sounds hilarious and ridiculous. After all of the dramas Ronnie has endured she ends up drowning in a swimming pool. SOC is taking the piss out of these characters, he clearly wants rid ASAP

IF this story is true, then I would be amazed that the producer has not been sacked on the spot.
I know people on this forum are optimistic but I get a feeling he is going to do irreparable damage to the show, much in the way Birkwood did.

Rediculous storyline.

I hope Ronnie doesn't actually die. I think it would make more sense to just have Roxy die. There's no point in them both dying because you'd want to see how the death affects the other one.

`Ronnie is a lot of things, but she`s never given me the - if I`m going down you`re coming with me`- vibe.

I'm not saying Ronnie hasn't behaved in a disturbed fashion when it comes to Roxy - mostly after becoming "Dark Ronnie", prior to that her actions with Roxy were more understandable within her characterisation/backstory, even if unhealthy/wrong. I still don't think she would try and kill her sister just because she thought she was going to die herself.

The alleged spoiler - I can see why it sounds dull, but actually it sounds disturbing to me. Characters who die tend to go out in ways that aren't that relatable - explosions, murders. or things we are a bit desenstized to seeing in film(car accidents).

Explosions do happen, but in soap they feel sensational, The drowning spoiler actually sounds eerie and dreadful - as in so real that just imaging finding a friend or family member face down in a pool due to alcohol intoxication sends a feeling of dread and panic through me. I'm not usually too worried about loved ones turning into psycho doctors who commit arson and accidentally getting themselves blown up in a B&B.

As for gruesome - well, envisioning the scenario - Jack and other guests would walk in to find the bride and her sister drowned in a pool. It's not gruesome in the physical sense, but emotional - I would say so. It sounds god - awful compared to most soap deaths.

Now, I don't know the accuracy of any of this - I don't know if a wedding dress would weigh you down so much you'd drown. I wouldn't describe the possible spoiler as dull though, other than that I have no real opinion on it yet(because how can I?). All I do know, is that it sounds bloody awful, and it wouldn't be what I was expecting.

I still think they won't die. Certainly not death by wedding dress anyway.

I think EE are 'leaking' ridiculous 'spoilers' to the press and keeping the actual ending a secret.

The show has kept spoilers to an absolute minimum since SOC took over, yet suddenly they're leaking all this about Ronnie and Roxy? Sounds fishy much?

It's certainly something alright.

Ronnie and Roxy being drowned.

They weren't being tried as witches, were they?

Roxy had a near death experience when she drowned in a lake a couple of years ago and Ronnie saved her.

I find it a bit hard to believe that the actresses would've been fine leaving the show like this after so many other gritty storylines. Hopefully it's just a rumour or an alternate scene since the storyline seems bizarre for them to die.

The storyline sounds similar to that Christmas where Sean and Roxy fell in the ice water and Ronnie jumped in to save Roxy.

Also why would Roxy be jealous that Jack and Ronnie are marrying? She got over him ages ago.
