Loads of pagers (free from work - thank-you BT Mobile).

Started with an analogue Nokia 101 (about as heavy as a baby elephant)
Nokia 1610, 5110, 3210 (battery died), 5110, 6210, and now a 6310i.

Do you keep all your old phones? I've still got the 101 - to take it out and laugh at occassionally - yes, my life is thrilling.

Panasonic (?) - Vodafone
Seimens C25 - Vodafone
Nokia 5110 - Voda
Nokia 7110 - BT Cellnet (Best phone ever that)
Nokia 3330 - BT Cellnet
Sony J5e - Orange

I lost one and broke one of these... damn mobiles!

Motoroal Startac
Motorola C520
Nokia 402
Nokia 702
Nokia 6150 (best ever phone I had)
Nokia 3210

I seem to remember mine having a dodgy WAP browser up until the most recent firmware release.

Anyway I've gone through these:

Nokia Communicator 9110
Nokia 7110
Sony Ericsson T68i (my current phone)
Sirius
16-12-2002
Ericsson A1018s
Motorola v2288
Sony J70

Never really had a complaint about any of them.

Motorola 7500 (Cellnet) x1
Motorola 8500 (Cellnet) x8
Motorola StarTac 75 (Cellnet) x1
Ericsson T18 (Cellnet)
Ericsson T28 (Cellnet)
Ericsson T39 (Vodafone) (Broke instantly replaced with...)
Ericsson T68 (Vodafone)

Yes, I really had 8 Motorola 8500. It was the worst piece of junk ever! I traded it in when I bought the T39 (ironic!)

Ericsson are the only phones I have ever actually liked, they used to be crap but I loved the T18 and the T28 was amazing. Felt let down by the T39 which lost signal all the time and displayed "no network" a lot.

T68 is fab, but got my eye on the P800 which is due out soon!

Nokia 6150
Ericsson T20
Siemens SL42
Motorola V60

Numerous others for a day or two, but then again do work for a mobile phone company. Oh yeah, and I've never had a phone lost/stolen/damaged/faulty.

I've had....

Philips C12/BTCellnet (excellent phone if rather dated now)
Nokia 3210/One2One (a classic)
Siemens C35i/T-Mobile (did the job)
Ericsson T68 with firmware upgrade to T68i/T-Mobile

I probably won't change again now for a long time though, the novelty of getting 'the latest' phone has worn off recently!!

Started out with one of those 'car battery' types back in the late '80s (I worked for Cellnet when it was starting out...)
Had a break for a few years, then an analogue Philips Brick, followed by a digital Ericsson.

Then a huge Nokia, a 3210, a flip Motorola, another Ericsson and now an 8210 which I've had for ages (and like a lot).

Can't be bothered going to all the expense of replacing it, although I wouldn't mind a new Treo to replace my 8210/Palm Vx combo...

Trium Mars - BTCellnet
Nokia 3330 - BTCellnet
Nokia 3330 - BTCellnet (Got a new one because the other was run over by a car - don't ask!)
Nokia 8310 - o2

Thats quite a lot since 2000!

Sounds like me, but what are you doing? I have never had any of my phones get lost, stolen or need to be repaired
Are you just unlucky?

No way, the 7110 was amazing! The wap was a little messed at times, but it did what it said on the tin. The screen was a great size and had all the best features!

More to the point it had a flip down button cover - ultimate impress tool.

I only have a Nokia 5210, an old one now, I've only had a mobile phone since 2001. It was second hand from a mate for £20, the sim card had had more than one previous owner and ti's on Orange Pay-As-You-Go.

1990ish Vodafone :: Analogue car phone two house bricks gaffer taped together. International 4200 if I remember rightly.... had a scary looking house phone style handset too!!!!

1995 Mercury :: Blue flip phone thing! But was on the "Personal Call Tariff" - does anyone remember? FREE CALLS TO ANYWHERE AFTER 6 PM AT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!

1997 Then Orange :: Crappy MR402,then, the best ever phone made!!! the Nokia 2000!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah, and a MAD breeze block style phone, could use anywhere in the world. Via Iridium satellite - now bust and orange. But that was thru work

1999 Then back to Vodafone, which am on currently. Gone thru International 8200 - had a vibrate alert which was damn sleek , not like these earthquake style nokia vibrate jobs!!!
Upgraded to Nokia 5001, then 6001 then to the 3110 and now 3210

LOL - and i think they should bring back Analogue!!!!! You could always get a reception up the top of hills or mountains - not like pesky digital "stutter pling cough" DAH DAH DAH !!!!!!

I also want to say that the Nokia 5210 has survived being dropped from a first floor window. Someone was on the phone in the garden (paved) and when they finished the call I asked if they could throw it up to me in the window, it hit just below the window and then fell back to earth it put a chip on the battery on re-entry. It's also survived numerous droppings on the road and pavements from my pocket.

Started off with an old square Ericsson thing that I don't know the model of, you could change the plastic jobbie near the keys for different coloured ones.

Then a Nokia 5110, then a 7110, then a 8210. Currently have a 6210 from work and an 8310 at home.

Looking at an Ericsson T39m next.

Cand def recommend a T39 - Used to have one - has all the features you will ever need and a great battery. I think it looks good as well tho not everyone will agree on that point - No colour screen tho

Started with Motorolla Flare on Vodaphone contract (couldn't afford a Nokia at the time).

My Flare got nicked (still didn't find the guy who nicked it), then got a Motorolla d460.

The d460 got water damaged, so got a Motorolla flip phone as a temp replacement, then got a new d460 under the insurance.

Then went for Siemens C10 on Vodaphone PAYG.

After then got some old Sagem phone for my ex-wife on Vodaphone PAYG.

Then went over to BT Cellnet and got a Trium Mars.

Eventually upgraded to Nokia 3210 on BT Cellnet, got it unlocked and then went onto Virgin Mobile.

Then bought Nokia 3410 on Vigin Mobile about 4 months ago. Recently got phone unlocked and now on O2 again.

Not planning on buying a new phone for a while!

Rob
