I've been thinking that as well. Or if he did get the job, it's actually a commission only cold calling sales job or something along those lines. It's definitely not the high flying job it's meant to be.

I was thinking he isnt working where he says he is. But then there has been emphasis on him not having the wedding day off, and him smashing his friend's phone away when he tried to film the stripper, saying work don't know about the wedding.

I think Lee's going to be fired maybe on his Wedding day, meaning he can't pay that loan company back. I feel like the writers want everything to be rosy pre-wedding, but then Lee's problems are going to really catch up with him once they are married.
