I'm pleased she lectured Phil for leaving Ben out of the will because it's out of order not giving Ben any assets. But yes she wanted money.

Yet she just made him change the will and Ben's still not in it!

Harassing a dying man into letting her get her grasping hands on his money... sickening.

It's demonstrably got nothing to do with Ben, it's all about her and her horrible son.

That's true. I agree she wanted money but as his wife, I also think she was hurt he didn't include her in the will.

Phil has treated her like an unpaid babysitter /secretary/crisis sorter for years and even after Ben and him reconcile he still can't even accept his sexuality.

Leaving all the money to Louise is frankly ludicrous.

Let's get a few things straight.

Firstly, Sharon isn't and has never been a gold digger. If she wanted money she could have married John in 2012, or she could have fleeced Phil in 2014. She did neither.

Secondly, Phil leaving his entire estate to a 14 year old girl is thoughtless and irresponsible. He has a son and wife to think of too. Sharon has put up with a hell of a lot of shit from Phil, and has looked after his businesses and his children in the process. It was she that made the Albert a success. Why shouldn't she ensure her own financial security (and Denny's) in the event of Phil's death? Are we all going to pretend that if we were in Sharon's situation we would have said nothing? Ridiculous.

But this is DS and it's Sharon, so the faux outrage begin.

Phil gave Sharon his half of the Albert. It is not his fault she gave it away and it is her fault that she has no financial security.

Plus she arrived back in the square a few yrs ago without a penny to her name and latched onto Phil for the security.

Sharon returning penniless in 2012 was terrible continuity. When she left in 2006 she had just sold the Vic and her house, as well as the club. Realistically she would have been a millionaire. Then it disappeared without any explanation.

It was Sharon who slogged her guts out in the R&R and later the Albert to make it a success. She wasn't just handed the business on a plate.

Of course it's Sharon's business who her husband leaves his estate to. She's not some nobody off the street. They're married.

It's exactly her business given the amount of shite she's had to deal with from him

Totally team Sharon on this one. Phil has only really known Louise for something like 9 months with a brief few months in 2010 while Ben has spent most of his life living with Phil.

If it was about doing the right thing she'd have fought Ben's corner as well not just her own.

Of course she wants stability! She is is his wife and with that surely comes financial security should he die? She has a son to look after and she will be the one Louise and Ben turn to when Phil dies, not their mothers.

I agree leaving to Louise and not Ben is spiteful.

Ppl are forgetting that Sharon was divorcing Phil till she found out he was dying..

I agreed with what Sharon was saying to Phil about how wrong it was to cut Ben out, but weirdly we then had the scene with Ritchie where she acted like she didnt care what happened to Ben's inheritance once she had got her own position sorted.

Both issues were covered in the episode

Why she may of overacted, it her her business, they are married and I think any wife would be a little miff that he leave he whole asset to a 14 year old girl without at least discussing it with her, she by he side, in his bed and running his businesses and household, looking after his kids, he chose to marry her, so yes it her business.

And she called off the divorce because she was being a decent human being and supporting Phil.
