That was my thinking too but I'm not sure how it works if your ex partner is no longer in the country.
Also, something I didn't mention was the rent he's now receiving from Carmel. Probably comfortably covers his mortgage giving him a tidy little profit to live on.

I thought it was mentioned Zainab got engaged and Shabnam or Masood mentioned she ended her relationship with him so did it actually happen or did I imagine this?
