I've said this before 2 x 30 mins please rather than 1 x60 mins
If it's on for an hour, just watch it in two parts

But it will lack the cliffhanging duff duff.

She's good enough for soap standards I guess. Though I can think of plenty of actors in EastEnders and the other soaps that are better than her.

She's still more talented than Kate Ford though.

Linda Henry receives a lot of overblown praise on here for standard soap acting that really isn't anything special.. I honestly don't think she is any better than Jacqueline Jossa. The woman who plays Whitney runs rings around the pair of them.

But it's all subjective when anyone says that one actor is better than another.

I agree. But posters on here have a tendency to think that the actors over 50 are automatically better than the ones in their twenties. I really don't understand that mindset.

No actor on EastEnders (whether young or old) is a patch on Steve McFadden.

That I agree with you on, if he ever decided to leave they would be stuffed.

How do you know what's going to happen at Christmas? Who says it's just going to be an hour of people pulling crackers and sitting in front of the telly? I wish people on this forum wouldn't write things off before they've even aired. So a couple of cast members have said it's going to be a 'quieter' Christmas, you could argue last year was quieter in comparison to what we've had before. Gets on my nerves all this criticism and bad feeling for the show when you haven't even seen it yet.
