As Elvis Presley has just had his 13th UK No.1 Album, I've up-dated these 2
'All Time' UK No.1 Albums Lists.

The reason why I give the start date as W/E 28th July 1956, is because that is
when the UK Album Chart began.

NOTE --- The Official UK Charts Company don't count Elton John's 2012 No.1
Album, with Australian duo Pnau, as an Elton No.1. Even though both Acts had
equal credit on it. So they give Elton 6 UK No.1 Albums & 28 Weeks at No.1.

In part of their Site, they credit Elvis Presley with 67 Weeks at No.1, in the UK
Album Chart. However, he has definitely had 66 UK Album Weeks at No.1.

Thanks for these Zeus. I can see Elvis having more as I think they plan to release at least two more with the RPO.

Its all a bit pointless when they include numerous compilations though. I would love to see a similar chart that excludes them (if such a chart exists).

It's interesting that ABBA, The Rolling Stones and Robbie Williams have spent more weeks at number one than Madonna even though they have less number one albums than her.

It's amazing to think that Adele has spent 37 weeks at number one on the album chart despite only releasing three albums. She holds the record for the female artist with the most weeks at number one. Longevity is key.
