Help With Broken Samsung S6
Hi,
Hope you can help. While on holiday I dropped my S6 and smashed the screen. On my return I have contacted a few shop to repair the phone and they have said in order to repair the may have to wipe the phone. The issue is that all my holiday photos are on it and I would be devastated to loose them. The phone is pin locked so when I attach to my PC it shows no files until the phone is unlocked but I cannot unlock due to no screen function. Any advice would be gratefully accepted. many thanks in advance |

I wonder if it would accept a USB keyboard attached via a USB OTG adapter? If so that might let you enter the unlock PIN so you can then plug into the PC to retrieve the pictures.

I have seen various reviews of OTG adapters on sites like Amazon that suggest you can use it with an S6 to connect a keyboard. Some even suggest it can work in your scenario to unlock a locked phone with broken screen (though not specifically the S6 but other Samsung phones)
So there is hope. |
