God kveld Europa! We are back in Norway again after ARIA triumphed in Snowdonia with her wonderful "Maze", bringing the contest to our magnificent country for the sixth time!

For this edition, we will be in sunny Hell, where every winter, it actually does freeze over! But enough of that, let's get to the details!

Interested in going to Hell? All you have to do is send a PM to ChickenFromKiev and you will then be assigned two countries - one good, one bad. You can then send me (Greecelove) your entries from 7pm GMT (8pm CET). Sounds rather simple, yes?

For anyone who is unfamiliar with the rules, or needs a recap, have some rules regarding entries and artists and the like.
Your entry cannot exceed 5 minutes in length, but the video can.
Your entry cannot have been released before 2005.
Your entry must not have charted in the UK Top 40. Other countries’ top 40s are allowed.
Your entry must never have participated in a Eurovision national selection, or Eurovision itself.
One of the singers on your entry must have either been born in that country, spent a significant amount of their life in that country, been a permanent resident of that country currently, or have ancestry links up to grandparents and no further. If a link is unclear, please provide evidence.
Covers are only allowed if they adhere to the rules above.
Your entry must never have been entered before, so please check the Wikia, magnificently maintained by AxG, to ensure your entry has not been entered in previous contests.

Funnily enough, I had 'Say Eindhoven, Say Hell' in mind if I had won with Miss Montreal & Netherlands back in Tallinn

Darn it, the one time I wanted picks. Ah well after the adventures in space that time, a post-Halloween trip to hell should be fun.

Glad you guys have managed to get it sussed. Probably worked out better, having the full weekend to plan and it's given everyone else a chance to have a mini break.

If my picks would've been Heaven, then my good country is definitely knocking on those pearly gates. My bad country however, is rotting in the fiery pits of Sunny Hell - is that a twinned town with Sunny Beach, Bulgaria btw...

I'm amazed it's taken this long to go to Hell I'm here to try & maybe get a decent result this year - my qualification rate must be awful. Especially since the Great Yoshi Robbery of last contest

Everyone who has signed up should have hopefully got their countries, hoping everyone likes at least one. I tried to make it as even as possible so if you've got a country like England you've probably got a country like Montenegro and if you've got a country like Russia you've probably got something more like Austria (examples off the top of my head, not actual combinations).

I think I'll still join. If I can listen to all the songs before going on a trip and rank them, I can sneak to vote in my hotel room if the wifi is okay. Besides, I would like to try to make it to the final the entire 2016.

We're now up to 21 sign ups, meaning 42 of the countries have been handed out! Reminder that you can send your entries to Greecelove via PM. Deadline for entries is Wednesday 9th November at 7pm, while deadline for signing up is Sunday 6th November at 7pm.

If we stay at the number we're at now, I am able to hand out an extra third country to everyone (as well as one fourth country to anyone who wants it), but more sign ups are obviously more than welcome.

We're at 22 sign ups which is lovely, more sign ups obviously welcome! Still some heavenly countries as well as some... hellish countries available. Sign up deadline is on Sunday.

Now at 24 that will likely turn to 25 soon. Still a couple of regulars who I haven't heard from so we could be in for a lot of players this edition!
