I could have done that, I guess but I don't think it would have been fair to send something and just expect other people to find evidence to prove its eligible. As a host you already have enough to do. Plus I'm busy over the next couple of days so I wouldn't really have had the time to have sent a replacement had it not have been eligible. So I just went with my second choice to avoid any faffing around.

Its no big deal, really. I like my second choice so I'm more than happy sending that in instead. And if at a later date I find some proof myself and nobody has sent it by the time I get the country again, I can always just send it then.

As long as you're okay with that, that's fine, but if you change your mind that's absolutely fine too.

I really wanted to send Nuteki for Georgia before, and my only evidence that I could find personally was that one of the band members' last names ended in 'vili'. Whoever the host was of that contest found a site that said he was of Georgian origin (and perhaps was also a little sympathetic because neither Belarus nor Georgia are easy countries to have) and let me send it.

Yep this is basically me as a host I will be very lenient not only because I'm too sympathetic to people who have Georgia and the like but because I'm not really one to judge considering I've sent three entries that have absolutely no link to their countries (without knowing, but still... )

I very almost sent that Mel C song in for Gibraltar last contest. Good to see Monika again, she and Vaidas have just released a new collaboration too, but it's a bit of a snooze if I'm honest.

Yeah, you officially hate me . I thought that by getting a horrible second country I automatically qualified for a great third country, but no, not the case. At least I sort of have something in mind for this one.

Sadly, I'm going to withdraw this contest as I'm struggling. Also, I'm busy with work as well, and I'm flying for my trip 2.5 weeks from now. Well, another reason is I'm currently juggling on some video games now, and the new Pokemon game is coming up too.

Yikes. I've had Georgia once and Bosnia at least twice and I never want either of them again. I wouldn't be surprised if it was pity more than anything haha. Belarus and Georgia sounds like a really tough ask.
