BIB Absolutely NOT you are wrong, Ben was prepared to donate before he knew about the will, and is still prepared to save the father he has yearned for love from regardless of the money is the right decision for him, otherwise, he would regret it if his father died and would have to live with the guilt. As far as characterisation is concerned this is the right decision due to the history of the situation. Others may see the decision as wrong but it's the right one for this character to make for dozens of reasons.
