Why didn't the fireman who was in the thing with Mercedes not try to help Joe?

We've already had the two deaths so I'm expecting some twist in the second half.

Nice one, fire brigade. Though that fall really didn't look high enough to be an insta-kill.

Bit of a design flaw on the ferris wheel if losing the key renders the whole thing a write off, and the only way to get people down is with a cherry picker.

I'm no expert, but wouldn't they have made sure that both Joe and Mercedes were attached to some rope before allowing them to climb out? You know, to stop this exact thing from happening?
Shame that there is no surprise with this stunt, it was obvious that Nico was going and Joe leaving and him dying were both in spoilers. |

I was expecting these episodes to be good and the deaths to be effective but they've just left me cold and they've looked very amateurish.

Was it too much to ask that a fireball hit the tent that Donovan, Scott, Tegan and Celine were in?!

Hey you! How have you been?
![]() You never have to wait too long for a bit of carnage in Hollyoaks! And I dunno, it seems pretty final to me ![]() I'm fine thanks!! Hope all is well with you? I thought Nico still might pop up one more time before a final death, we never did see her actually burn crispy like!! She seemed stuck, but you never know, this is Hollyoaks afterall!! ![]()

1. Why did the fireman cower in the corner and not help?
2. Why was the cherry picker moved further away from the ferries wheel after Mercedes got in I thought that the ferries wheel was going to collapse with Joe in it which would of made it more dramatic having it fall as he tried to climb out |

It's true, don't forget this is the bloke who was kept in a medically induced coma for 6 months by a crazed gangsta, was paralyzed and told he'd never walk again and married a psychotic serial killer. This is a walk in the park for him, he'll be out of hospital and back in his garage within the week |

Freddie? Or would he have lost right to Lexi when he gave her up? The only other possible one is Mercedes...unless they have Robbie/Jason come back to take the kids to them with them to their mum?

Tiegan was quite happy to humiliate Joe when he was going to propose, if that camera was still running she'll probably try and flog it to You've Been Framed
