We all know that Kellie Bright is pregnant and we've all noticed that Linda has been filmed only from the waist up or wearing very flowing garments for weeks now.

What I want to know is, when is she leaving (probably only temporarily) and under what pretext? It's amazing that nobody else in the Carter family has noticed her putting on weight!

Linda will probably go to look after Elaine and her pub after it was mentioned that she was in hospital the other day. No one in the Carter family has mentioned anything about her weight because only the actress is pregnant, not the character. We all know the distinction between Linda and Kellie Bright, so we just have to accept that pregnancies are difficult to fully hide on screen, especially when we're all aware of it anyway and will subconsciously notice Kellie's bump.

Yep I also believe Linda quietly leaves Walford for a few months to look after her mum and there is no way they'd split up Mick and Linda and looking after Elaine would be the ideal temporary exit storyline for her. Linda's clothing style has changed since Kellie's pregnancy and I think they'd done a great job covering up Kellie's baby bump and I agree with your final sentence. No explanation is needed for her apparent 'putting on' weight
