Corrie is so much better when Peter is around. We all know he's a lousy father yet no matter how many times he ****s up I still find him very likeable. There's a presence about him that's comforting. There's also so much depth to him, he's very dynamic as a character. He's my favourite character in any of the soaps, lets hope he sticks around now because Corrie isn't the same without him .

While Chris has only played him for about 16 years on and off, the character of Peter is an old one from Corrie's early days so yes it is good to have him back again and gives Ken some family other than Tracy. As has been mentioned many times before, hopefully they can do more with him this time than resort to women and drink.

Yes, he's an interesting character played by a very capable and charismatic actor. Corrie is always so much the better for having Peter around.

Add me to the PB appreciation gang! He isn't a great dad, husband or son but he's human and I do think he has a good heart, he's just weak-willed. Chris is so charismatic, such a brooding intensity about him makes him very watchable. I love him!

He's an interesting character but more Peter normally means more Ken which is never a good thing.

I was thrilled when I heard Peter was returning. It's been a bit of an incentive to start watching again as Corrie has really been pretty dire of late.

Peter was/is an alcoholic yet everyone else goes into the Rovers ad nauseam. They're all alcoholics by now surely?! LOL
