Personally I think it's Joanne's,Cameron had set to kill Nico and nobody else. Although Joanne had no intention to kill Joe it's her fault this happened In the first place,hadn't she done it then Joe and Mercedes would of been safe.

But you could say the same about Joanne - that she did not set out to hurt anybody at all. Cameron is ultimately to blame. He set the fire. Yes his target was Nico but the man is no fool. Surely setting a fire full of electrical circits it bound to flag up danger signs for everyone there. He knew what possible consequences there could be. I don't think Joanne is innocent. It was her selfish, bitter, jealous and unhinged behaviour that put Joe in danger in the first place and I hope mercy gives her hell when she finds out. However, I don't think it was her intention to have anybody die. In her warped head, they'd be stuck up there miserable for hours. Cameron though aimed for death and destruction. Not that I care for either of them. 😑

He started the fire uncaring of who was hurt ir killed aside from Nico. Anybody could have been in the maze and trapped even if it hadn't spread. A fireman could have ben killed trying to put it oit.

Arson carries a high custodial sentence simply becsuse of the liklihood of fires getting out of control and costing lives, even if that wasn't the intention.

Yes, Joannes actions meant Joe eas somewhere he couldn't get away from so was in danger so practically partially caused it, but there was. No intent or reasonable foresight thst it would have fatal consequences for anybody.

This is a very old excuse. E4 have been showing it first for years. Spoilers happen.
Like I said, avoid the internet for 24 hours around a special stunt week, eh? Not so hard.

It is totally Cameron's fault. Meaning to kill someone else doesn't mean he gets away with accidentally killing others through the same fire. Not quite sure what Joanne's plan was giving Joe and Mercedes more time together to talk it through, but while she is responsible in putting Joe in that situation, Cameron is the murderer.

That's as maybe, but some of us aren't able to watch E4 - E4 is showing a day ahead - some of us can only watch at 6:30 on C4.
Why should we have to avoid the internet? Really no need to be so abrupt.
The fact is, anything relating to an E4 episode of HO is a SPOILER.

The thing is you can't expect an episode that's been aired to thousands not to be openly discussed on a public domain. Whether you agree or disagree with it being a spoiler, the fact remains that it has been viewed by a large demographic so it's out there for public discussion. If you are not going to hear it here, you will on social media. No one is going to spoiler tag anything that's been broadcasted, that's the reality. As frustrating as that may be for some of you, it's been that way for years and it's not going to stop now. I understand why others are saying it's better to avoid the Internet for 24hrs or least soap centric episodes like this around a big episode. It's just more logical.

Why are you unable to watch E4 as I understood it to be on all digitsl devices free of charge and everybody needs tp have digital now as the analogue signal stopped transmitting a couple of years ago. Ate their regions which still have analogue or E4 doesnt work for?

The simple, and frustrating for me, answer is, we only have one tv and my husband insists on watching Emmerdale at 7... I was ALWAYS an E4 viewer...but it's an agreement of ours. I get HO and he gets ED.

I do appreciate that's frustrating and it is expensive to get a + service to record but it is a choicd dud to personal circumstances. You do have the option to watch the first transmission and I think that is what people consider relevant to wheter something is spoilers, the first transmission that everybody in the country can watch without paying for a subscription and that is now E4 although it didn't used to be pre digital free view and the switchover.

I choose to watch Hollyoak on E4 and Emmerdale either on +1 at 8pm or at the omnibus. As that is my choice, I would expect people to discuss the episode as soon as it has aired first time, before I've seen it, including references in titles.

You can't really expect us to stay secret about something that has been broadcast nationally and also reported on in national newspapers.

I think Joanne and Cameron are BOTH to Blame.

Joanne got Joe and Mercedes stuck on top of the Ferris Wheel, even she didn't intend to kill anyone, and Cameron started the fire, but he only wanted to kill Nico and nobody else.

Just 1 Question: Why didn't the Cherry Picker Guy help Joe?

If he'd thought quickly he could have lowered it right down while he was hanging from the platform.

Joe for picking bad girls all the time. First he chose Lindsey over Mercedes after she went with his brother and then he went for Joanne after Mercedes was arrested. When she was released he dropped Joanne like a shot, tried to deny it and left Mercy at the alter without the good grace to tell her that he had changed his mind. He then set out to blame her for everything without good evidence and not question why Joanne was always around to point him in the direction of Mercedes.Mercedes told him again and again that it wasn't her and when Lewis told him about Joanne why did he choose Mercedes even though Mercedes had been repeatedly telling him the same thing about Joanne? Why marry Mercedes who he doesn't trust, isn't a serial killer or the bunny boiler type that he likes and showed very little respect to on the day of their wedding? He should marry Lewis not Mercedes

I put Joanne and Cameron both to blame. Imagine Joanne's face when she she finds out Joe is dead. I liked Joe but his death was silly. The fireman could have held onto Joe while Mercedes lowered the cherry picker or Darren and Freddie could have used the banner to cushion his fall. It would have made more sense if Joe fell from the actual wheel from the impact of the blast.
