I was hoping Masood's leaving story would be him moving back to Pakistan to give things another go with her, meaning they could return together in future.

Could be cancer which leads to a reunion off screen. I too hope they don't kill her off. I don't see Nina Wadia returning without her family there but the option of bringing her back should stay open.

While I do think Whitney being infertile is a possibility, it normally takes a lot longer for people to find out, most drs won't even start testing for infertility reasons until they have been trying to conceive for at least one year. Of course in soap land things can move at warp speed.

Maybe she's been captured by bandits and is being held hostage.

I think sad news could be connected to Zainab.

Think it's Masood's final week but I hope the upsetting news isn't about Zainab. All About Soap says Mas and Denise have a major falling out so I'm very intrigued about it. I am pondering if Zainab is very ill in Pakistan and Mas leaves to look after her.

No problem, definitely sounds like Something is happening.

I don't think Elaine being ill or dying, would be 'sad' enough to 'rock the residents' as she doesn't live in the Square and is only a very occasional visitor. People might feel sympathetic for Linda if Elaine dies, but I can't see it being a major storyline.
