I don't think it will be that but Robert was wrong big time. However I'm being positive that this just might be part of a stupid plan and is a wake up call for Robert. Aaron is a loyal and faithful person that Robert is very lucky to have him want him so he better not screw up.

It has only been a few weeks as well since that superb episode. Robert was so wonderfully written and devoted to Aaron. He was like the old Robert who was getting married to Chrissie in that scene with Rebecca tonight.

I accept this but not now. It doesn't make sense following the events of just a few short weeks ago... the lake, Robert saving Aaron at the risk of his own life, the hospital vigil, the marriage proposal and so on.

It makes no sense at all, just like many of the other Emmerdale storylines at the moment.

Me too Lucie . I'm at work at the moment and thought I'd watch live on my phone to cheer myself up because I was expecting him to tell her in no uncertain terms that he wasn't interested and instead we got that . Wish I hadn't bothered now No-one wonder she turns spiteful in a couple of weeks

This was a awful move because the spoilers didn't even say this. All fans were ok with it cus it seemed like nothing but then THIS. What the hell?

I don't know how i can support this anymore. But what choice do we have? They are going to be together for months to come. The alternative is to not watch but i have to for Aaron, i watch for him and he's with Robert. What can we do?

I really don't know ho i'll be able to watch things like them getting a place and stuff and xmas when this has just happened. This will always have happened.

Is it just me or did that whole stuff today not seem out of character for the Robert we know now?? The one ready to die along side Aaron??the one who swore to him that no-one else comes close & put a ring on his finger?? I'm so mad it's unbelievable.

i argee that was the 1st mistake IM has done is to that idiot SB loose on our Robron he wrecked it just for this EP and poor maxine alderton when her eps are aired she will we have pull something out of bag to bring rob back in line

This makes me the most upset. That whole week was trashed.

I suspect that the storyliners have no idea what to do with Robron in order to keep us watching. So, they've gone down this familiar Emmerdale 'affair' route in the hope that we remain interested.

It's the same old same old and I'm getting bored. We need the Robron story to move forward. In fact a lot of the other storylines also need to move forward or be dropped. Emmerdale urgently needs an injection of new writers, new characters and fresh ideas.

I dont know but it makes all the things Robert said to Aaron as lies. How do we know Robert and Rebecca won't have an affair. I thought he felt nothing for her obviously not and Aaron is obviously not enough poor Aaron. I could cry I really could. Am having a rubbish week and this has made it worse.

I feel the same and that week had some of my fave Robron scenes. It's not just that week but any loved up/happy scene between I won't be able to watch in the same way now. I've never loved a fictional couple as much as I love Robron and now they've ruined them for me and I'm really going off Robert who was my fave. I'm so disappointed and angry with ED right now.

Andy I completely agree. At the moment I want Aaron to dump him.
