Yeh and how often do you see Adam and Vanessa on screen for any significant ?
What's the relevance of that though ? I'm saying that they all get periods of being off and being offscreen

As much as I want Finn to have a love interest I have to admit that scenario is rather stupid. I am so glad Robert and Aaron are legacy characters when I read plots like that.

Yeah they all get time off. I honestly don't see Christmas being dominated by the Whites. They promise a lighter fluffier Christmas and give us scenes of Chrissy and Lachlan carving the turkey with a chain saw.
Lol I hope not but they do have to be featured somewhere

Exactly. I'm sure they'll be on a lot during the lead up to (and obviously during) the Wedding.
Yeah I'm sure of that

The Whites are not light and fluffy but yes I would think they'd be featured in the other storylines that aren't about happy families.

We bloody better see them boys at Christmas.. Ryan/Danny not filming recently hopefully doesn't mean we won't see them Whites aside, I am excited for this festive period.. I do think we'll see them

Not happy at all to hear Stuart Blackburn is back at ED. Ok so he's only on the writing team but still... he ruined the show with his over the top storylines and random personality transplants of the characters and he ruined Corrie too.. why is this man still employed at ITV is anyone's guess

The happy domestic scenes probably don't take as much work to film as some of the action scenes.

I think we'll get a glimpse. I'll be disappointed if not because if the show really is being fluffy this xmas you can't really get much fluffier than featuring Robron and Liv that little happy families first xmas together, especially after what an awful year they have all had. But then again generally we don't get what we want/expect...unless it's in a super soap week

I imagine the Whites will still dominate.

Are we just basing the filming reports on what people hanging around outside the studio say? Because they aren't there all day, everyday and probably miss a lot of people coming and going anyway.

I don't think he can do much damage as a writer to the show as a whole. However, what's worrying is the fact the first ep he writes for the show is the kiss one.....it better be good and all above board and in character/story. I was worried enough about that episode without the fact it a) a writers first ep and b) that writer is Stuart Blackburn!

Well I never expected to get what we got in the immediate lead up to, during, and immediately after SSW. It was amazing, beyond what I hoped for. So I can be quite content with that for quite a long time.

Since the show didn't announce Kasim (Coma Patient) joining the show, is he just a temporary character?

If he's just a writer, then there's still a lot of oversight and control over what he writes anyway.

To be fair to Stuart Blackburn. He oversaw Jackson's death and aftermath, now it had it's faults i i really did not like the quick resolution (?) to things like Aaron's self harm, but that's happened under KO too, but the Jackson death episodes and aftermath, as i say, was very good imo. He did some good work.

I would far rather see less of Robron if it means when we do get them, then their scenes are really great, as opposed to having them all the time, but with lack lustre scenes

You mean like the David and Tracy stuff with Frank. I agree I think the upcoming stuff sounds great. I like that the conflict is coming from outside the relationship rather than from Robert's behavior. I don't think we really could have asked for better.

there's already the robron bed ermmm bedroom set ready for them to shoot in
That's something that's been bugging me actually - was that scene meant to be in the Woolie (because if it was the wallpaper doesn't match - and yes I am aware that it is sad that I notice things like that, but I just do!)

I had a thought last night, we know Kelvin is not coming back at the moment if ever. So whatever happens no Andy back in the village. We know Louise who plays Chrissie signed a new contract and we don't think Lachlan is going anywhere. So what if Lachlan does get arrested and charged with Laurence shooting but then brings up Aaron kidnapping him and Aaron gets arrested. Chrissie uses that to blackmail Robert. They have to drop the Andy thing say they are lying about Lachlan or Aaron who I think is still on license will go down for kidnapping Lachlan. Just wild spec.
I'm not sure that storyline would hang together though - there's no evidence that Lachlan was kidnapped (if the car has been brought up then any DNA/physical evidence would have been washed away), I'm sure Robert, Victoria and Adam would both swear blind that Lachlan is lying and I'm sure the police would be more than a little suspicious of him only bringing it up when he's been arrested for something (although I suppose that paramedic/first responder did see him)

The erotic adventures of the bobbled hat.

I can see it now. I would write it but I don't write smut as I have an untainted and innocent mind

Thanks for that gorgeous pic. Love how well they all get on. Just re watched the proposal scene. I don't think I have ever seen Robert smile like that or look that happy before. Aaron is his lobster.
Most definitely

It's a shame Danny couldn't have got another role to film elsewhere in all the spare time EM are giving him
I'm sure he's just enjoying the break!!

She's been throwing herself at Robert tho!! Your talking like Aaron is jealous for the sake of been jealous.. he has a reason to not like her around Robert, weather Robert is the world's biggest cheat or not.. weather Aaron is the world's most insecure person or not,, she's an ex who is trying to worm her way into Roberts life infront of Aaron.. how anyone can say it's Aaron's problem for choosing to be with Robert is beyond me.

I think we'll just agree to disagree on this.
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can we call her she who shall not be named like voldermort lol. Xxxx
No, most definitely not - I'm with (?was it) Hermione on this!!!

There is now mass hysteria between you know which group of fans, about Stuart Blackburn writing for the show now. As if he is in charge and has the power to ruin everything. Honestly. I don't think they quite get what a writer is on the show, because it's not as powerful a role as it appears.

What we don't know is whether Danny has done 3 x 12 hour filming days, too many assumptions being made and aired as if true again ......

I am just happy we have an engaged Robron, the kiss thing well lets just see how it plays out but its all part of this Laclan/Chrissie/Beks story with Robert on the side of clearing Andy's name, I think Aaron's being jealous is quite normal but again lets see how it plays alongside Diane - I think its all rather intriguing and exciting.

Surely the writers have to follow the storylines and plot, I know they sometimes go a little off piste but generally they need to follow the ongoing plot.

Yep, I think it was meant to be and they sort of painted that one wall cream with a reddish pattern so it kinda looked like the Woolpack. I actually think it was filmed in the Sharma's house because the wallpaper in the landing I noticed last night and it looked like the wallpaper on the right of the screen during the scene where Aaron walks from the bathroom to the bedroom.
