Im still on the fluffy bus. I recognize that sometimes its difficult to me not to get off but Im still positive and on my seat!

so am and never got of it been a Robron since day 1 and will always be im always postive and we got loads coming up yeah ronron planing to move into together and Robron planing there wedding which of course will be talk about during dec because they havent talked about so they must do in dec and im sure we will have some lovely momment along the way so dont give robron will some out the stronger and better for it Robron forever and we have a wedding to see

It is interesting/funny to see the difference between twitter/FB reactions.

IA that FB is more general audience so they wont really care that much about a kiss Robert stopped and twitter is more hardcore fans that obsess about every moment and analyze everything will have a much bigger problem with it.

Yeah thats what I mean.. I think we as the fandom took it really hard but really it's not meant to be that big of a deal lol.. Danny seemed abit shocked by the reaction aswell & told us all to calm down.. idk I think as a fandom it was hard especially with everything we've seen, but with Robron set to move out & still together I think EDs point of this is "Rebecca isn't going to break Robron up they'll only get stronger yayyy" & that's it lol.

I can't believe some of the things I read on twitter sometimes.... Just seen a post on there that was something along the lines of Robert not having/shouldnt have limits when it comes to people who matter to him... (loosely quoting the "I lie, cheat, do whatever it takes")

So does that mean this person who posted this would have accepted Robert going all the way with Rebecca because he was doing it for the people who matter??

and I'm pretty sure when Robert used the word "Cheat" he didn't mean "If I had to cheat on you then I would."

Yeah I can see how that could be their thinking. The thing is Robron aren't a fairytale, they are a couple on a soap opera and maybe something like this was needed to wake the fandom up a bit. Expecting perfection from a soap opera romance is asking for trouble.

I think Robert meant every word he said to Aaron during ssw, no one will ever tell me other wise. But no one is perfect least of all Robert Sugden. He is still a work in progress. They will both make mistakes during the course of their relationship, it's about how they weather the mistakes.

Last year I remember a lot of Robron fans saying how they hoped that Robron would be a strong couple like Coira one day, after Coira got over the Chrissie kiss (and that was way way more full on than anything that happened with R/R, they almost had sex right there in the garage ) because they talked about it and put it behind them and moved on (until it was Moira's turn to cheat with Pete )

I would hate Rebecca to be seen as the big bad Wolf in this as I dont like her and she doesn't give two hoots about Aaron. But it was just as much Robert as her. I need a proper explanation to Aaron. Not just blame it on Rebecca and get away with it. I do agree about Danny and Maxine tweeting. I don't think Emmerdale expected the reaction

No that's what I mean. If Robert HAD gone all the way with Rebecca then does it mean that paticular poster would have been ok with it because they believe he shouldn't have limits when it comes to the people who matter?

Yeah, & its definitely shuck the fandom. The thing that I struggle with is, the love for Robron does the show some good.. people so invested in a couple is amazing & I don't believe Robron would be were there at today if it wasn't for the love & big fanbase they have... why would ED want to rock that in such predictable way I totally understand drama, drama, drama but soaps.. especially ED need to stop with the cheating crap, it's boring & I find this whole White/Sugden plot an epic fail.. its dreadful because it hasn't been played & written well. Then we have this silly Bex & Rob stuff.. instead of it been delt with realistically.. it actually ends up with the boys buying a house shortly after lol.. but again I think thats the shows intention, to show the power couple can't be touched by wicked Bex.

No, we are not over reacting. Not even for the briefest of moments.

We are fans of Emmerdale. We invest a lot of our time watching the programme and following storylines and character developments.

We are quite right to feel frustrated, and a little angry, at this last week's events, given where Emmerdale had taken us just a few short weeks ago. None of it has made any sense given what happened after the accident. It was illogical, unrealistic and thoughtless. A very callous and cruel way to treat fans that invest so much in watching the show.

The powers that be at Emmerdale really need to get their act together before they start losing viewers.

Interesting, I guess for me that would depend on the scenes we see in 2 weeks time. How far Rebecca goes in blackmailing Robert, how scared he is at maybe loosing Aaron and what she tells Aaron (ie does she embellish the truth) and her reasons for telling Aaron. Does she tell him out of pure spite because she realises Robert doesn't want her or does she tell him because she hopes it will split them up and she and Robert can be together?

Whatever happens it would be a sad thing to watch a relationship be destroyed by a momentary kiss that didn't go anywhere, so I do hope they are able to come through it all ok. Emmerdale will no doubt have even bigger obstacles to throw at them soon enough.

its the timing that bugs me most about this. If it was 6 months/year from now it would be easier to swallow. But its literally 3 weeks after SSW where Robron were perfect and everything we wanted. I know its a soap and drama happens but could it have waited a little further down the line.

I am not convinced the show does want us to see Bex as wicked or the bad wolf. Remember what IM said when she joined about her turning your blokes eye but more importantly having a good heart.
